Great thank you! I already got the rear spats and front moldings ready to go on there! if you had the choice again would you stick with the 325, or take the 315? did you notice a difference in the gap from the fender? I'm guessing some slight difference on the speedometer also?
I’d probably stay with 325’s at this point. They look really good and fit the 11” wheel nicely. I didn’t worry about the speedometer because the diameter difference is only 1% difference. At 70 it’s less than a 1 mi per hour.
As far as the fender gap it’s less than .5” and I only had the 315 sport cups on for 30 miles so I didn’t get an opportunity to compare them. You can’t go wrong with their size in the rear.

Go for it. They went right on my 19 PP1 with a minor modification. Just waiting on the right wheels.

It bugs the shit outta me that I’ve had my Mach for a month now and still haven’t gotten the flares but other guys are able to get them. Good work Ford.

I'd be giving the dealership some choice words on that.

Yep it’s been like pulling teeth. Multiple calls and texts. Also emails to Ford Performance Warranty who claimed to be able to get me a tracking number on the shipment of the flares to the dealer but so far nothing.

The dealer also owes me $1200 for the difference between the price in October when I took delivery and the price in March when I ordered, that they claim they mailed but I haven’t gotten.

And don’t get me started on the FP wheels that they gouged trying to mount the 315 rears.

What an experience this has been.

Yes, but your speedo is set differently from non-HP Mach 1. With 325/30 it's -3.6%, with 315/30 it's -4.7% to standard 275/40. I also didn't like the 704 mm standard vs 671 mm 315/30 height. Since 305/35 isn't done in PS4S I went with 295/35 with -2.2% diameter difference, which is fine, and 688mm height. I worried about high diameter difference and what it might do to differential/ABS, 5% is pretty big difference imo. Since you have HP, this was easier for you. On 11" rim 295 will have similar actual width as 315, just stretched more, and I think it'll actually have similar road contact area. Hopefully on next tyre change there will be 305/35 in PS4S or its successor.

Good call. I forgot to consider the non HP tire sizes

325s will fit but its not optimum, an 11.5-12" wheel is optimum. This is a less of an issue as its on the rear. When Michelin rates the specs of this tire its rated at 11.5".

Sorry to hear Mike, I learned that when something goes wrong it goes in threes.

Well, if it makes you feel any better, I paid almost 3 bills for these. So they're not cheap. The company that makes/sells them for Ford, Air Design Inc out of Oceanside Ca via Mexico, took 6 weeks to get me a set of flares for my F150 this year. They're way behind with production. They do make a sturdy product. I know that doesn't cure your problem but it's going on with a lot of random manufacturing.

I’ve been wondering when this situation would come up. The place I trust explicitly for tires (High Country, Sylva, NC, small family owned) actually told me something I did not want to hear, they would not install my HP tires. 😐. They said that you need special equipment on that, and that without it was likely they would damage the tires/Wheels. So they recommended a guy who has a mobile shop (Brandon 8284211452 if you are in WNC) who specialized in custom/exotic tires. Brandon did a fantastic job btw.

The moral of the story is two fold.

One, the reason you trust a company is integrity. They lost business to keep me happy. Just because you don’t want to hear something does not mean you don’t NEED to hear something lol.

And two, these tires, like many other things on this car, need the right equipment/tech to do many things properly on this vehicle.

I had my cup 2’s replaced with 30 miles on them. I really struggled to find a shop locally that would do it. None of the ford dealers felt comfortable attempting it because of the width of the wheels. While it was a pain in the ass at the time I’m really thankful they told me their concerns up front and didn’t damage my brand new wheels. I ended up getting them done at les schwab of all places! There’s a few car guys that work there and they assured me they could do it. They did a great job and really spent time getting the balancing dialed in. They used black wheel weights that completely disappear inside the wheel. I also made sure to run back over there later in the day and tip them myself so hopefully going forward I continue to have a reliable tire place.

As it turns out, my front right wheel must have gotten scratched on the very edge still at the factory, rather thin and not deep but almost 30 cm long scratch around the edge, partially painted with the magnetic colour paint. Not a dramatic issue, it's not that noticable, but gonna see someone to fix it perfectly after winter. My tyreshop guy said he would never do that as he uses plastic attachments etc to avoid scratches on these expensive rims with low profile tyres.

They will fit just fine. The factory HP tire size is good but you can safely fit 325’s in the back. I have 325’s because the michelin ps4 wasn’t available in 315 earlier this year. The only issue you’ll have is the poke of the front wheels. You will want to add the fender moldings.
And lots of PPF...LOL.
