So as the title says looking at installing a Steeda stop the hop package on my 23 Mach 1 and am trying to decide on exactly which package at this point. Really trying to narrow it down to the ultimate street or ultimate handling at this point. The main reason I ask is the only difference between the two is the inclusion of
"Adjustable Differential Bushing Insert System" in the handling package. My buddy, who helps with all installs, said he didn't know if they would fit in the Mach 1 as the rear was just different enough and that he hadn't noted if it was standard GT rear suspension with a few improved parts or closer to a 350 rear. Just trying to see if any Mach 1 owners have experience with this. I'm totally open to other thoughts as well if people have thoughts on the other packages. Oh and don't know if it maters but it is a non-HP car but I have added all the HP appearance parts except the wheels. I have them I just wanted to at least get my moneys worth from the stock tires before I drop 2K on the new tires.

I have the ultimate handling version but I have a standard gt not a special version like you do. If you have a gt 350 rear end you might not even need it. Do you have magna ride? Also do you have any FI? Because I didn’t need it until I went FI. But that added a lot of hp and then I could tell I needed steeda.

I'm not even sure if its a 350 rear to be honest, just know it it has a few parts different then the standard GT rear, it might be as simple as that. And it's magnaride so I know its more of a nice to have at this point. Although I am planning on going FI down the road, waiting on C.A.R.B. approved kits as I'm in Cali, and am kind of also doing that in preparation. Was basically wanting to install any suspension upgrades when I switch over the HP wheels if that makes sense.

I think the Mach is different.

Most who have the pucks installed take them out if it is a street car. Lots of gear noise.

Oh you’re in CA? I feel sorry for you. You’re limited on everything you can buy for your car. I think whipple will work, but I don’t think you can go e85.

Yeah I know it's going to add some road noise but it's not my daily so I'm not too concerned with that but if it's really bad I might change my mind haha.

I'm probably going whipple anyway but the funny thing Cali has E85 all over the place and no restrictions to my knowledge. But any gas above 91 is apparently the devil.

Lol.. 91 is as high as you can get? Here the highest at the pump is 93 but some gas stations sell 120 octane. I think it’s ethanol tho, but you can only buy it a gallon at a time and only put it in a gas container. They won’t let you pump it directly in your car at the pump. Weird if you ask me, but I guess you can’t have some schmuck with a Honda accord just pull up and pump it. The gas station would probably get sued.

The Mach needs a different subframe bushing kit (using 6 parts rather than 8) and a different diff bush kit (2 bushes are slightly altered and now included in the kit).

Steeda know about both issues, so just make sure they put you a Mach specific / latest spec kit together :like:

I know it's a competitor, but the BMR CB005 Cradle Bushing Lockout Kit along with Steeda alignment kit for the BMR CB005 made a noticeable improvement in my Mach 1 with zero increase in NVH. It fit with zero issues other than the pain of lining up the subframe with bushing play removed LOL. Whichever route you go I'd skip the diff bushings. I'm N/A and on Falken RT-660's launching hard and cornering and have zero issues.

That’s pretty cool. I used to live in Valdosta. Off river st. I miss that place. They had a great bbq place run by an old man that was so good. Only place I could ever find mustard based bbq sauce.

What did you decide on?
So I went with their Mach 1 specific stop the hop. I missed it when I first was looking and they verified it was still good for a 23, which I assumed but wanted to make sure.
