Just can't get enuff!
Glad to see another track enthusiast who's enjoying the 350 at its home grounds...

Indeed there is some understeer but not too bad. I had my tires down to 28 psi cold... it helped a bit in grip once warmed up.

A nice remedy would be Cup 2's. :D

The car had all factory specs, no alignment done to the car, I had 30psi cold tire pressure when out at the track.

As far as under steer I did feel it in the slower corners slightly. But I could only definitely tell in the hairpin turn on the track after the straight. I would say 75% of the track I couldn't tell. I don't have the touch quiet yet for track cars lol.
FWIW, on my Boss, the car performed well at Thunderhill, Buttonwillow and Sonoma but turn 2 at Laguna Seca understeered like crazy, especially with P-Zero Corsas on. Tracks without tight hairpins will likely be fine on stock alignment with the Pilot Super Sports, but if you want to run R-compounds or want to go faster through very tight corners, you'll see a lot of benefit when changing the alignment.

Me and another member took our cars to Motorsports Ranch Houston this morning, and it was so awesome!
YES! I was at MSR Houston on Saturday driving a 430 Scuderia as part of the Fittipaldi Exotic Driving Experience. Awesome.

I live 25 miles from MSR Houston and have a GT350R on order. We'll have to get together when it arrives.

Are you a member at MSR? Where do you Houston guys live?

I can't wait for my first track day! I want to get at least 1000 miles on it before pushing it to red line, like the book recommends. Only 600 more miles to go! We're planning on a Houston trip in the future as well. I like what I saw in your vids. It's only a 3.5 hour drive from Dallas.

Let us know when you make it to town. I'll drool over your machines while I wait for mine.

Nice courtesy wave to your fellow GT350 driver in the last video. Great videos. It's so great revving out the motor which is a rare treat on the street. Track time seems to be a must for all 350 owners.

Ivan thanks for the videos. Looks like you are going to need those new tires sooner than later.

It looked like you were going for 4th gear on the pit straight in the video but stayed in 3rd. Do you remember what your speed and rpm was at the end of the straight?

I know I was at the top of 3rd gear coming down the front straight. I hit 8k rpm so I think I was at 100mph before the turn in. I have my wheels on order and just deciding on the track tires. I may go with Hoosier r6

I was the passenger in the second video. The car hauls ass, runs strong, and has a ton of grip.

There's some understeer, but from what is felt as a passenger, it is similar to the Porsches as it reaches the .0001 over the line of adhesion, then the computer pulls it back in, it tucks, grips, and rips.

I was super impressed with that car. Excited to see how far Ivan is able to push it and what sort of times he can get as he puts more miles on it.

Awesome! I love taking my GT PP to the track! I wish I could trade in for a GT350, but I really think I'm going to be trading her in at the end of the year for a 17' Raptor SuperCab. Need a more practical car with the crazy winters here in Chicago.

Wow, you're flying in those vids! That last left hander looks scary. A high speed left turn with the barrier on your right doesn't leave any margin for error..!

Did some checking and if what I found is correct then Terry Fair of Vorshlag raced there during a NASA Time Trial with his red TT3 Mustang and ran a 1:41.544 on Jan 13 2015. The GT350 is a beast if you got close to that given the circumstances!

Sweet! Given it was my first ever track day in a car I don't think 1:47 is bad at all!

I have no doubt with an experienced race car driver the GT350 can do 1:40-1:45 in stock form (with alignment)
