First mods to your Mach 1

If there's one good thing around here, it's the availability of 100 octane fuels. I have a gas station with it just 10 km away in a city and my Mach 1 won't get any other sustenance. I plan to take it to engine brake in summer to know the real power of EU model with proper fuel.

What mats? I'm thinking the Ford trunk mat, but unsure of the front mats....not a fan of the weathertech logo.

I kept the Ford all weather mats and trunk liner as they did not come with the Bullitt. I bought them after the fact.

Super easy, 20 minute job

The Ford Performance hood struts look great, simple instalation, putting them on my to-do list too.

Just as a note there is a risk of peeling the paint where you attach the ends to the car. As it is metal on metal. Same on the hood but less risk of the bracket to move on the hood.

Also my hood did not align properly some fiddling might be needed

I'm in NYC and am required to have a front license. What are you going to use for the front plate? I'm still trying to figure out what would be the best (with little or no drilling).

Now that we know the car has a threaded tow hook receiver, best bet might just be an insert that holds the plate

Just pull them off! Nothing beats clean fenders.

I wasn't aware of the tow hook receiver. Do you have any links about that? Also, if I use it for that then I no longer have the tow hook receiver, yes?

It won't be welded in, you can just unscrew whatever bracket attaches there.
