Goods set of ultra high performance tires and tint. Just switching to Nitto NT05s had my 2011 running 12.6s pretty easy, no other mods. No special launch techniques. The tint doesn't do much for speed but it looks good.

I'm sure you could get a premium if you wanted to sell your dash, but that would be a PIA to coordinate with another buyer...and would only work if you wanted one of the other dashes out there so probably not worth it I'm thinking to swap.

Oh no that brushed aluminum dash is even worse. I just don't see what the designers see in that stuff. I'd prefer plain vinyl cover or if you have to offer something fancy use real not simulated carbon fiber. This is what a dash should look like.

Chooses a $1,000,000+ car as an example of what a $35K car's dash should look like...

Regardless, the McLaren doesn't have any heritage or 'retro-ness' to to consider when designing their interiors.

It's a good thing for Ford that your opinion on the PP dash is likely in the minority.

If it all stays welded, more than likely when I do an exhaust it will be to replace the whole system including headers. I don't need no stinkin cats lol. plus it looks like some have gotten some pretty solid gains from longtube headers and a tune out of the current 5.0.

Aren't all the aluminum pieces in that dash brushed aluminum? Or is it more of a satin aluminum? To me, the brushed aluminum dash looks the most like the McLaren example. Not sure what the issue with brushed is if that is your example of a great looking one.

I'm thinking that dash is more of a satin. and I think his gripe is more along the lines of he wants less metal on the dash period. Which the mcclaren dash certainly doesn't have a lot of metal in it's dash

If I go Ecoboost I'd probably just get a tune and intake. Maybe just a tune.

Just go on Livernois' s site or Mountune and check out the graphs for their tunes on the Focus ST and Fusion 2.0.

Looks like there could be some decent power still on the table for the Eco.

Tint and that's probably it for awhile. As I get closer to the end of warranty I'll put in a new exhaust and a tune. To me this vehicle has enough stock go fast parts that dont need changing ..for now ;)

How can you pass an inspection without cats?

There are no emissions by me... probably the same for DivineStrike.

All that's required is "mufflers" ... some people gut theirs and they're still good!
