In order:

1) tint
2) intake
3) catback
4) wheels
5) ̶h̶e̶a̶d̶e̶r̶s̶

Question for current Coyote owners: are cam tunes widely available and have they proven to be relatively safe? I've been really interested in the Jon Lund ghost cam tune.

That should be a blast and an excellent way to check out the suspension benefits!

To the OP - this is probably one of the few Mustangs that I would NOT modify sight unseen because of all the new hardware in the typical areas where people make changes - exhaust, springs/shocks, brakes, engine output, shifter.

Given I will daily drive this car, if anything gets changed first, it will be the exhaust system, but given that it looks like it will be a more involved change than the current S197 axlebacks, I will probably be waiting awhile before doing anything. I will want to hear the stock exhaust as it gets seasoned over time and heat cycles.

I think people are going to be pleasantly surprised at a lot of the stock capabilities. The engineering that has gone into this car, if what we know from what's been shared so far is true, looks to be VERY solid.
Right there with you. I'm also going to be highly skeptical of any coil over setups until there have been plenty of buyers serving as guinea pigs. It's way too easy to ruin the car's behavior for the sake of aesthetics.

Tune is a very good mod. Cold air is only 1 hp at best over stock. This has been well documented. Stock exhaust is also pretty decent depending on how much power you want to make.

I am getting a VMP TVS supercharger and E85 fuel.

Not that I am a Coyote owner currently, but I have seen various forum posts about folks using the Ford Racing "track key" calibration that includes the lopey idle.

My first mods will be cosmetic and I plan to do them as soon as I take delivery. Some custom paint, tint and, since I have the PP, I plan to add the spoiler back.

I will likely end up putting on a supercharger and doing some suspension modifications as well, but until I drive the car in it's new form, I can't make any intelligent decisions on that front. For those kinds of mods, I would want at least a year in the car.

If you're ordering it, I imagine that you could just have then leave the spoiler on.

Buy wheels for sure
Paint that awful engine turned dash maybe
etc....
I'm sure you could get a premium if you wanted to sell your dash, but that would be a PIA to coordinate with another buyer...and would only work if you wanted one of the other dashes out there so probably not worth it I'm thinking to swap.

This is all I am doing too, once I hit 1,000 miles I'll start reading up on what everyone else did and if it's working.
