OP, doesn't sound like were completely disappointed with your car...sounds like you rung it out pretty good up until the end on a fairly warm day...sounds like it did OK?

^^This. Or I've gotten a little impatient before and I tried to go for the TC button while I was depressing the brake and it didn't like that either. At least with the gt's if you don't hold the brake pedal down while turning off tc/advanced track you will get the warning. It doesn't say to but everyone does it and we don't have that problem. Try that next time.
Maybe he should have gotten the "AutoX package" if he was going to use it at the AutoX.I can talk for my self. Radiators dont work if the car is sitting in the sun after a hard run and AutoX speeds arent generally that high.
OP are you ok with how the car performed. Did you open the hood between runs or no time?

See this thread- contains info on turning off the piped in engine noise....Hmmmm...that last bit is interesting. I wonder how I can turn that off always.
And the rest of it makes sense to me. My car overheats in 20-30 minutes on a fairly regular drive on an up mountain hwy. Welcome to the ass-blast Sir.
Weather, impractical in the city, or Garage Queen? My base never has any issues because it just sits in my garage![]()
Reads like you are going to need coolers for your AMPS as well! ; ) all jokes aside, it is obvious, heat is bad mm K! I own a Track pack and still wont track the car in the hot summer days. I hate the heat!Thought you guys might like to hear about this. Now... granted, it was literally 95° today. This was my first time out with the car. My brother and I were dual driving in the same run group. On hoosier A7. We have done a lot of autox, hillclimb, rally, etc over the years
1. Care goes into limp mode for my brother after 10 straight runs in the morning. 75-80 second runs mostly in 2nd gear
2. "Advanced track needs service" illuminates for me on 2 of my four afternoon runs. Abs pump to hot to touch
3. Coolant over temperature message for my brother on his last afternoon run. I skip my last run.
I have a tech pack car but I still decided to upgrade the stereo. The amplifier is mounted in the spare tire well.
It was so hot the amp overheated and shut off on the ride home. I was listening to talk radio.
The biggest thing I took from the day was how drastically quiet it was in the car when the amp shut off. With the radio off I guess the car still pumps fake engine noise in so there is no way to shut it off. With the aftermarket amp overheated there was zero output from the speakers. Maybe 1/2 the engine noise in the car. Interesting...
