Yep I had 42k points as well. It’s equivalent to about $210.
I received 42,000 points on my 2020 Explorer (leased) and 42,000 when I financed my 21 GT/CS....just got notice that i'm now a Silver Ford Pass rewards member. 10 points per $ spent on Ford S3ervice + 5% bonus on points earned. I've only been using the points for service.

Yeah, 42k sounds right. Points on anything bought at the dealer, parts service etc. Just Don't use the Pass (on your info) App.

Never mind, stupid question.

Great to hear. Do we earn points when we buy parts or only services paid for?
I believe you only get points when you get your vehicle(s) serviced or for vehicle purchases but don’t quote me

Are you sure it's 10 points per dollar spent? That would be $8400 in service dollars for 84,000 points. Maybe it's 100 points per dollar at the Silver level?
FYI directly from the app.

So if you get 10 points per $1, are 10 points worth $1? If so I have $1,900 in parts from Ford I need to spend my money on.

My guess is either that $1 = 10 points, but the items that you can buy with points are probably inflated no?

Side note, I heard you could buy stuff from Ford Accessories with points. How does one go about doing so.

They don’t specify what the redemption amounts are, just says contact your local dealer for details. For those that have redeemed here, what they’re saying is likely accurate.

Yeah, that was my bad. I misread the comment -- you get 10 points for every dollar spent on service, as opposed to every 10 points equalling a dollar in service.

From an earlier comment, it looks like they're $1 for every 200 points at the Bronze level.

Its actually funny because I'm getting points from a car I sold years ago still.

Wondering what all this point stuff was all about. Decided to check my app and it turns out I have zero points. Not sure what I'd do with them if I had any though.

Most people use them to pay for service, but you can use them for anything really. The whole idea is that its "a year of included service" when you buy a car.

I usually do maintenance myself, but I'm not just going to let the $200 I have go to waste, so my first few will be at the dealer.

It's probably not necessary, but I'm going to have my oil changed after the break-in period. The points make that decision a little easier.

What did you pay for your oil if you don’t mind me asking? I got the synthetic blend for $4.85 a quart. They wanted over $9 a quart for full synthetic at multiple dealerships here where I live.
