My R should at the dealer on Tuesday. Reading everyone's posts about long waits, I feel I got really lucky this time even though I ordered my R in February. After I got my build date, the process has been very smooth without any surprises and holds. Cotus has been on point almost every time. Build date 4/28, expected delivery 5/24.

[MENTION=19886]Spacebird[/MENTION] mine went to the mod shop on tuesday 5/17 and mine was a build date of 5/9 as a point of reference. I've gotten so good at waiting. Why not just wait some more.....

Can you describe the difference between driving the R and non-R?

It was very shortly after taking delivery of the Yellow GT350 that I secured the R order. Only put 414 miles on the non R before I put it up. I never got to push it since it wasn't broken in yet. At "normal" driving speeds I have not noticed any difference. I'm a smaller guy so I'm really liking the R seats and I can see where a large person might have an issue with them. I've got a guy coming to CQuartz finest the R so I'm going to try not to drive it too much before he gets it done.

Yikes. My ETA slipped 3 days too. I'll be looking at ~35 days between production and delivery. That seems a lot longer than most.

Yikes, thanks for another punch to the stomach. I hope the next car I buy will be off the lot. Or at least if I special order something I won't sell a car until the one on order arrives.
