It finally happened! Two days ago got the car. It’s a PP1 with 401A, a10 and pretty much every other option. MSRP about $54,000.

It’s my first American car and I couldn’t be happier. I’d say the finish of the paint isn’t as good as my Audi as there are light scratches and swirls, the panel gaps are less than perfect too. The seat has a weird issue (I’ll post the pic) where it seems like some padding came out and it was stitched and it passed QC, lol.

On a positive note, there are no ticks or rattles.

I’m still not sure how to break it in. For the first 50 miles I drove it in sport+ mode, kept it under 4k rpm and under 75mph. I’m not sure if I should have left in normal mode so the revs stayed under 3k ‍♂.

All in all, I love it and I’ll get better daytime pics.

They would probably just replace that cover that's damaged.

Did you custom order the Mustang ? If so, how long did it take to get it ? I would ask for a new seat. Congrats on the purchase. It is a real beauty. I love the color. The rear spoiler looks really good .

Nice ride - get it Clear Bra'd - X-pel'd - whatever - ASAP.

Color reminds me of my 2003 Redfire Cobra

First off, congrats on the new Stang. It is a beauty. Rapid Red is insane. Now regarding the seat, You might be able to carefully push that small piece back into to seat pad. You might also be able to trim this small piece off. Worst case, bring it to the dealer.
Lastly, +1 on protection. PPF on the front clip at a minimum.

Wow. She is beautiful, very jealous. Treat her well

As for break in. Dont "keep it under a certain rpm" take it easy, no harsh launches etc. While driving you want to vary the Rpms, no highway cruise control at 1500 rpms for 500 miles. Explore all the rpms, ease your way up to redline sometimes, that is part of break in, allow some nice engine brakeing and listen to her purr. Use common sense, she'll be fine

Do a quick oil change in the first 200 miles. I did this with my 2018 and the amount of metal crud in the drain pan was scary. I was so upset that I repeated the next oil change at 600 miles and the metallic crud was 25%. My motor is quiet, no tics, nothing....cheap insurance!

Yes, I custom ordered it and it took almost exactly 12 weeks to get to the dealer. Thanks! I’m really happy. I’m thinking about wrapping the spoiler and side mirrors black.

Just push that seat material back in or snip it. Don't give the dealer an opportunity to scratch the car over that.

That car will look terrific in the sun. I see a black wrap on the roof, black lug nutz, and gloss black emblems all the way round.
