My favorite has been a 67 GT500 I had 20 years ago with a 427, former Tasca 1/4 mile car
It would scare the kids in the neighborhood when I fired it up!
I had a 390 in my 66’ Fairlane with Thrush mufflers. Those FE’s were nasty!

5.0 roller cam with Dynomax mufflers was one of the best. Coyote with muffler delete at 6500 rpm, one of the worst.
when i was 16 i put exhaust cut outs on mine like the idiot kid that i was . i thought it was cool as hell. all it was was noise. i thought i would sound like john force. it sounded instead like a 215hp broke-ass POS :cwl: cringe-worthy now.

I would have to say the Coyote especially if it has the manual delete option :) Ya the Voodoos sound badass for sure but I think I prefer the smoother sound of the Coyote of the 2.

My favorite sound is when it starts......

Really though.

I had a 12 GT M6 with Bassini race exhaust and it sounded awesome as long as you were not at 1 consistent speed. It had a good amount of drone.

Had a 14 GT A6 with with Borla Attack. I just thought it was ok. It did not have drone which was nice.

Then i had a 18 GT A10 with the AWE Touring, this was by far my favorite one. As far as Coyote sounds.

I have had a bunch of Foxes and long tubes with the dynamax race bullets was always a great sound.

I've found the best 5.0 SBF in fox body with factory h-pipe and Flow masters... by far #1 for me.
Second was the 4.6 2V motors with aftermarket mufflers.
I like my coyote with stock exhaust (quad tip mufflers the same sound as single tip??) for a burble that is not too obnoxious and gets looks... when it starts up cold it is AWESOME and louder until it warms up, any explanation as to why? (non active exhaust)

I'm also in the same boat, as I've never heard a Voodoo in person. However, I do love when I go to the local Trash/Scraps drop off, get out the car, pop the trunk, and my exhaust note is just..................................
You have to search some cars & coffee’s or some local shows... the sound of the Voodoo will melt your heart!

The 351 Cleveland I had in my '72. The cam had a nasty lope and it meant business... My stock '15 is cool, too.
