1. LS3 in a 2009 Corvette. Just a torque monster, like an LS1 that lifts. Truly regret trading that car.
2. Gen 3 5.0. Good midrange and high RPM power. My GT is currently in a bay at a dealership getting a Roush Phase 2 installed. I would assume the Gen 3 will be shortly taking first place.
3. LS2 in a 2006 GTO. Not my favorite car but surprisingly quick.
4. LS1 in my 2001 Trans Am. Who doesn't like the OG LS...
5. LT1 in a 2016 Z51 C7. Truly was uninspired by the performance. Lacked low end, in my opinion, and weak throttle feel. The C7 handles phenomenally, but the LT1 wasn't my favorite.
6. Honda/Acura 2.0 Turbo in my wife's RDX Aspec. Not as anemic as you might think.

I am going to have to go with the S65 engine in the E92 M3. That engine was special. Made more hp/litre than the Voodoo 5.2 and even revved a tad higher. The car has 8 individual throttle bodies, you want to talk about induction noise...:D

Favorite - 5.2L Voodoo. God this motor just revs and sings! Absolutely love it!

Runner up - 5.4L supercharged V8 in my 2011 GT500. Just. So. Much. TORQUE! Especially after I put the VMP Gen 1 on it.

Honorable mentions:

Gen 1 Coyote - good engine (2014 GT), but not as good as the other 2 mustangs

2.7l Ecoboost (2016 F150) - this is the little engine that could. Just makes the truck zippy.

Owned, Honda B and K engines are pretty good, the Coyote is good too. I never minded working an engine past 4k all day. Had a 2jz i6 that was smooth as a daily way back, non turbo. I still have the b18 gsr, 172k miles still vtecs.
