Fathouse Performance Increases Prices

Has anyone taken a look at Fathouse's website lately? Looks like their packages got a hefty price increase. Understandable with supply issues and inflation, but it truly pushes their packages into another realm of expensive. To be clear, I am not discounting their performance, build quality, and prestige. I'll list the prices below, but I do not remember all of the previous prices.

800R Supercharged: $23,999
800R Twin Turbo: $39,999 -> $10k increase?
1000R Twin Turbo: $69,999 -> I believe $10k increase, but I can't recall if this used to be 50k or 60k
1200R Twin Turbo: $119,999
1400R Twin Turbo: $169,999

One thing to mention is that at the price point of the 1200R or 1400R, you are damn close to Twin Turbo prices on a 2nd gen Audi R8 which will perform as good or better...but after all, money is just make-believe, right?

To the people who knows the cost of work, we know these prices are ABSOLUTELY FRAUDULANT to say the least. But: shops like this aren't pricing their work this high unless people who don't care about money are using them. Sad

1. the list of people ahead of you
2. the work put into R&D
3. that 2 year warranty

if you don't like it remember bidenflation ain't helping anything.

I respect everything they do…..they are absolutely amazing fab quality, top notch calvo esque type shop….but you can make a gen 3 5.0 1600rwhp for 50-75k and blow their doors off

fyi, that 2yr warranty is only on their in house workmanship…..not if a part fails. Your motor blows, sorry bud, we only put it together, not make the component.

I guess I'd be rethinking my car choice if I needed to put $60 to $160k into it. No matter the carbon fiber rims, engine, wide fenders and badging its still a Ford mustang. Could never shake the fact that at a high school near by, some youngster has a v6 that looks crazy similar to my $200k variant.

At least dump it into a viper or r8.

my wife did this recently. raised her photography prices just to weed out people unwilling to pay a premium. if it costs them 30% of their customers they make the same doing 2/3 the work incurring 2/3 the risk. that's 30% gains over times even if it costs them half they're still making out like gangbusters.

Its not about the price. It’s the insinuation that a 350 is in the same category as a gt. By that logic the gt is no different then the ecoboost. I agree there numbers are high. The very large risk with any business going down this path is it assumes the number of customers won’t drop off. If that happens past the point of “weeding” out whatever customers there willing to give up the whole thing folds. It’s a risky move. It’s interesting you brought up photography, I’m currently doing a buildout for a local photographer.

Lol. I won’t shy away and won‘t admit it. I get a little torqued with the gt guys and there …. toward the 350’s. I have a gt, the car is awesome but it is no comparison to a 350 even with all the suspension mods.
