I just wanted to give some feedback on a recent experience with Wengerd Performance. Short history; I've been tuned by Wengerd for over three years now. I was having a recent emissions issue with my car and reached out to Daryl. Full transparency, my car is full bolt on N/A which includes long tubes with high flow cats. I had no issues passing emissions since I've been tuned, but for some reason, this time around, no bueno. I reached out to Daryl, just asking him to look at my tune to see if there was anything going on. He requested that I send him a log, and within thirty minutes, he responded at 9:00 PM same day. Luckily, he said all was fine and saw no issues. I had some idea of what the issue might be, but outreached to get feedback on some readiness monitors not going GREEN. Additionally, I was hoping that something else wasn't wrong that I hadn't taken into consideration. All in all, I just wanted to point out Wengerd's customer service is top notch! The recent experience was just a continuation of the great service received in the last three plus years. If you don't hear it enough Daryl, I appreciate you brother!

The car kept throwing P0420 and P0430 codes this time around after not doing so on the same file the past two years. I needed to change the rear sensors and I installed minicat extensions in the O2 bungs for good measure. The factory original O2 sensors had a lot of carbon buildup. I changed those, reloaded the file, went through some driving cycles, and everything is good. The car passed emissions yesterday as it has in the past with the same tune and all monitors in readiness status.

Interesting. I'm so glad I don't have to subject my cars to such bureaucratic scrutiny. However, a new "noisemaker" bill is making its way through Michigan's legislature to penalize "loud" cars by with huge fines.

I agree, I have had both my Mustang's tuned by Wengerd, customer service is top notch. And the tunes are spot on. I just got one on my Mach 1. Car is completely stock other than a res delete and the tune is really nice. Nothing earth shattering but throttle response is better, and it just responds like it should :)

Yeah they passed a street racing bill in Georgia recently that is really subject to officer discretion since exhaust sound is included. I keep my car in "normal" mode or shift at very low RPMs around town. I've had to quickly put the exhaust in normal a few times.

Some counties as you reach the outskirts of the metro Atlanta area don't have emissions. Never understood that, but since I live in the metro Atlanta area, it is what it is.
