Here's the real solution, albeit it may be an unpopular one... Lose the headers and any other powertrain mods, reinstall the cats and any other OEM parts, then reset the tune to factory. Enjoy. If you want more power, trade to a GT350, a GT500... or a Dark Horse if that's your persuasion.
Youā€˜ll never get anywhere trying to make sense like that…

I think this is usually caused because the flow rate of a lot of these aftermarket cats is very different from the oem ones, so the calculations the ecu gets puts it in a permanent state of unreadiness. These newer cars don't just check if the cat is working, there's a whole lot of math going on behind the scenes.
