Failed motor mounts?

To those who had motor mounts fail, does it sound like bad struts? i know it isnt my struts as they are all brand new components top to bottom. Did it with old and new struts. Sounds like the strut bottoming out over small bumps, but dont notice any vibrations. I do get some false knock when taking off from a dead stop. Any input appreciated.

The factory motor mounts have fluid in them. I would expect that you would see leakage if they were bad.

False knock like coming from the front of the car or undetermined area?

I'd maybe check the drive shaft/u-joints if it happens taking off from a dead stop.

False knock as in knock sensors. Pulls a little timing when you touch the gas
