Some people have asked to see the factory spare tire solution and fit in the trunk (spare tire is compulsory here upon delivery, I always take them out and put in storage, I have a collection from Porsche to Ferrari and everything in between).

Getting the wheel in and out of the trunk is a pain as the opening is tight and the wheel and tire are heavy, 66 pounds. Only difference I can spot is the spare does not come with a TPMS valve stem, otherwise same wheel and tire.

So it appears it is a front wheel? I guess they don't plan on you having a flat on the rear? I know it will fit but will hit your rear quarters because of the offset.

We will need to see the offset that is stamped into the back side of the wheel to know if it's the same as our front wheels.

Thanks for sharing the pics, does eat up a lot of space as you mentioned. Question for north american GT500 owners, is there any sort of flat tire solution that comes with the cars here?

Valve stem placement is different on fronts vs rears. The stem in the photo is in a "front" position.
(For non-CF wheels) Rear stems are between the paired spokes. I can't think of any reason an
over-seas model would be different.

Right, I do know the US cars are different front vs rear. I cant imagine them including a wheel that con only be placed on the front. Oops, rear flat, sorry.... can only get front flat... That's why I am hoping they have an offset that would work either front or rear.

Sorry to dissappoint but that is a 305 tire which should require an 11 inch wheel. So i am confident that is a front wheel. But would like to know the offset just out curiosity. That being said, a 11" wheel it is impossible to have a wheel that fits both front/rear without issues (either hits front caliper, or sticks out in back). Simple physics, again if we could get a wheel that could work on the front AND rear we would all be buying them and all wheel mfgr's would be making them.

I guess most people would flat bed the car to nearest dealer. Good luck if you’re somewhere remote.

There is enough room either side for a backpack. Enough space for a months clothing, or one day for the wife.
