Anyone have recommendations/comments about where you keep your EZ Pass (electronic toll payment transponders for those that happen to not know what it is)

I've always just used the Velcro to the canter top of windshield behind the rear view mirror.

I plastidip mine black to make it less noticeable and put it behind the rear view mirror using black velcro. I have the slim design one that they use for motorcycles in IL....I think its what they use for cars now but back when I got it the motorcycle one was the smallest one.

I suction-cup it to the windshield behind the rearview where I can't see it while I'm driving.

Have you considered just leaving it in the cup holder until you pass through the toll? I usually take it out of the glovebox before a trip and leave it in the cup holder so I dont have to use the velcro things on the window that they give...

as long as your car is registered, you shouldn't have to worry about where it is.

Not always true...I have gotten tickets before for not having it in my car or not registering since it was under the seat, then I have to call them to get the ticket reversed. It has to connect to their system so placement is kinda important.

We get nailed with extra administration fees when we've done this in the past

that's bullshit; i wouldn't pay that garbage.

It says that you should have the iPass in the registered vehicle at all times...don't see why this is BS

I'm in illinois also and dont have the physical pass in my car but it still works like normal without it because the car is registered
Interesting. I have been dinged 3 times and my wife's car also 1 time. We usually get the notice 5-7 months after the incident.
