Where to put EZ-Pass

I did a search but only came up with a thread from 2016....

Where do you guys put your EZ-Pass box? Got a new slim one and have no idea where to hide it....

Recently got an 18 GT with the 401A and Safe And Smart so I've got that huge black box under the rear view mirror. Usually I hide them up near the mirror but that box is in the way. Up above it blocks movement of the Rear View mirror. Any other place is like in the middle of the windshield.

Has anyone attached it to that box or opened it up and attached it in there? Or some other creative place other than the console and holding it up all the time.

I keep mine in the console and just chuck it on the dashboard when needed.

I also just keep mine in the glovebox and grab it when needed, then throw it back in the glovebox once I pass through the gate.

Suction cup mount right behind the rear view mirror. Can't even see it and easily removable.

i put it behind the rear view mirror. i have one of the small ones, it's a necessary evil unless you wanna pull it out of the glove box every time. :(

I painted mine with black plasti/dip and have it on the windshield below the mirror. You can’t really see it.

Thanks guys. I may give that metal holder a shot or see if I can put it to the back of the rearview mirror.

The plastidip seems like another great option to make it not stick out as much.

The plastidip seems like another great option to make it not stick out as much.

Be careful here. P-dip would probably be considered 'defacing'. This is NJ's information, but other states in the Northeast that use this probably follow something similar.

Customer damaging or defacing a tag through misuse or abuse will be required to pay the full cost of the tag. This includes but not limited to pencil, pen, permanent marker, stickers, and any writing whatsoever, scratches.

Mine is behind the RVM to the right. Visible to the passenger but not to me. I go through several tolls every day so mounting it is a necessity. Over $2K per year in tolls for me lol

You must cover a long stretch of MassPike..... I get hit for both tunnels to and from Logan.
