Coilovers are a minimum, but air makes it more practical for dealing with steep driveways, speed bumps, etc. having the ability to adjust the height on the fly, makes it so worth the additional money.

Haha my car isn't going to be a monster truck. That's the beauty of air though, no need for jack/jack stands when working on the car!

Ummmm I'm not taking about air ride! I'm talking about those wheel flares! It screams 1970s or 4x4. Not judging you or your taste but that just ruined the whole car. I remember people in the 70s adding flares to corvettes and mustangs and Camaros. Back then it was done with metal or fiberglass. Too each their own I guess

Thanks for the passive aggressive judgment haha. You can't say "not judging you or your taste" and follow that up with "...but that just ruined the whole car."

That's like me saying, "with all due respect, I don't give a s**t what you think"

Haha I know! Sorry guys, the car wasn't done yet because after they prepped it for paint they found tiny pin holes in the material that would show up in the paint/clear. Also, the material has some air pockets in it around the rivet sections so they had to fill those, and figure out a way to mount with less pressure in the rivet zone.

Will be done today though, once it is I will be posting photos I promise.

Tuned in for final pics. Not my thing but I can appreciate the hard work and passion to be unique.

For all of those considering doing a widebody mustang, I hope this thread has shed some light on what all is involved after the money for the kit is spent. As you can see, there is a lot more to it than just buying a ~$2k kit

For proper fitting wheels, without the need for spacers, here is a little information to help get you started.

My wheels are 20x10.5 +15 front and 20x11.5 +15 rear.
Fronts are wrapped in 285/30 and rears are 305/25
With my spacers the front offset will soon be -10 and the rear is currently -23 (25mm spacer front | 38mm rear)

The rear is perfect right now. I can almost air all the way out with the bag/coil at the lowest possible setting and no rubbing. I would say the max I would do on this setup is -25 offset to allow for max low when dumped.

Feel free to ask any other questions about the kit and I will be 100% honest with you.

Just wanted to take the time as well really quick and thank Extreme Dimensions for an awesome kit, and more importantly Samurai Motor Body & Paint for spending so much time making sure the car is perfect. They seriously put in some long hours working on the car making sure I had it by last night.

For anyone in the Vegas/SoCal area here is their information:

Man, honest opinion. Doesn't look good. And I'm a fan of the LW, RWB, Rocket Bunny kits out there. The front flares are just giant bubbles that don't match any of the cars lines. The rear isn't that much better. And like Khyber said, the stock bumper doesn't look "mean" enough.

But I can appreciate the work that went into making that kit fit. It doesn't look like it lined up too well originally. And I can appreciate trying to "go big". But it's your car, and if you're happy, that's all that matters.

The back portion of the front ones looks awful from a fitment standpoint like its not even flush against the car. Same with the rear section that's on the back bumper itself behind the tires. Just what my eyes see from these pictures. The rivets need to be body color imo. Appreciate the work that went into it though.

While I am not a big fan of the riveted look, I do have to say that kit does look pretty cool. The rear flares seem to end a little to abruptly on the rear bumper, but overall a unique look as been achieved. Well done.

love it, we are doing the same thing here with the same kit. I have just been pulling my hair out trying for figure out the right offset for the wheels, but now seeing the info you have posted about the wheels this will help out a lot.

the car looks mint btw!
