The car will be ready for it's great unveiling on Monday the 9th! It is in for final prepping and painting today, curing tomorrow, than install and clean up on Monday.

Thanks for everyone's patience following the process, as a reward, I will be posting all kinds of finished photos/videos in this thread of the completed car haha.

Excellent news! Looking forward to seeing the finished product. Does that mean you got wheels? That will be an EXTREMELY important step towards finalizing it.

Very excellent! It's been tough having to wait while the car is being worked on. I still am rocking the narrow 20x10.5/20x11.5 wheels haha. Just got some wheel spacers to make them "appear" to be wider lol. I have been talking with an old friend in the FR-S wide body community though and think I've got the hook up on the next wheels if I can sell my current setup.

I personally love the rivets on the side. To me it gives it that very aggressive appearance, so long as you got the power and handling to prove it, otherwise its like putting an open exhaust on a civic... cars looking great

Thanks! So the shop couldn't source some black rivets in time for the cars completion, but as a good alternative they are doing silver rivets with red washers to match the red lugs in the wheels and future interior red trim pieces.

Very excited!

Are airbag suspension a must for wide body install?

I'll never understand why anyone wants to make their car look like a 4x4:crazy:

LOL the goal isn't to make it look like a 4x4, some were just joking. Look at the video on post #44.

Coilovers are a minimum, but air makes it more practical for dealing with steep driveways, speed bumps, etc. having the ability to adjust the height on the fly, makes it so worth the additional money.

Haha my car isn't going to be a monster truck. That's the beauty of air though, no need for jack/jack stands when working on the car!
