Actually, notes are not “money”... they’re currency. Pro tip.Are those numbers factoring in the time value of our worthless reserve notes we call money?
In all fairness, it depends what is going down with the Mustang in 5 years. The Raptor and the GT evolved to 6 cylinders and I vaguely remember the pre-Probe years but Mustang value was looking on the upswing when Ford announced the possible replacement for the Mustang would be a 4-cyl based Mazda chassis. What do you expect the avg minimum value on our tree fiddys to be in a 5 or so years...in good condition under 50k miles? I can't ever see these cars going below 25k...thoughts?
fixed it for you$1,000,001, Bob
I’m seeing these go way higher last i looked, unless just ragged completely out.I'd guess mid 20's as long as the economy stays steady. a 5-6yo gt500 books in the high 20's as a reference.
In all seriousness.
5 years, less than 50k miles and in very good condition I think it will probably be worth around high 20s.
By this time next year I can see them drift comfortably into the $45k range for used, decent mileage cars but I think they will sort of park there for a while before they drop much further over the next few years.
Unless these engines are supremely unreliable and expensive in the long run.
Right, so last year people said the same thing about this year. The year before that, people said the same thing about last year... Sounds like I'll soon be able to do an even trade with my 15 year old winter beater for another R since it'll be worth the same.I'd guess mid 20's as long as the economy stays steady. a 5-6yo gt500 books in the high 20's as a reference.
I think the commonality with the quoted opinions is that they both come from GT owners. Forgive me, but when it comes to this subject matter, they are usually biased having been living in the shadow of the 350 and R. Most will never trade up and damn it, they "won't pay a dealer markup".Right, so last year people said the same thing about this year.
