This is ONE thing i like about our state. Makes trading to dealerships more "worth it" vs finding the individual to buy at the upper end of blue book.
Definitely would bring in a LOT more trade-ins. You know how much dealers love selling used cars.

Carmax offered me 54k for my tech pack (was only curious) another member traded his base in for 63k....my KBB wholesale value is about 67k with retail showing 72k...it's all about selling the dealer on why they should pay more in trade the same as they sell you on why to pay more when it's new. There's no guideline yet for these cars so people who are actually trading and selling theirs this early have a lot of advantages.

swedensky Since curiosity killed the cat.... is there even a trade-in value that exists for a 2015 whether R or non-R?

MY2015 GT350s are absent in KBB iirc. And I mean all we currently have are the specialty auctions on these... Mecum, etc. So where would a dealer even start?

This cat is just curious.... :D

I could see if it pops up in our system of you pm me a vin of one, other than that it would be case by case and you would need someone that knows the true value rather than paper value.

BTW, I tried the KBB offer thing. The dealers in the program do not have to honor the cert. I got the old bait and switch trying to use that service with the PCola Chevrolet. I had a 57.5k offer with KBB and the Chevy dealer wanted to inspect the car, telling me that there's probably more value once they see the condition. I was hesitant but thought why not. The offered me $50k once there.
