Negative. Wengerd had no issue tuning it without doing it.The IMRC was removed and capped off in the rear. Do you have lockout or no?
I made sure all pulleys spin freely, and it seems the tensioner doesn’t have to move much at all to get the belt on. I have the correct belt for the correct pulley, and they correct layout too.
yes the IMRC lockout was installed during the ESS kit install as I was told by Lund that they typically only work with boosted cars that have it and told me to get it.
It should be a Gates MICRO-V K061031 belt. It should be really far into travel of the tensioner like Sheepdog said. The 120mm and 115mm pulleys use the same belt.Definitely not the case. It barely has to travel.
