Well, I hate to be the bearer of bad news, but I am in the business of fixing things. There is no way they can fix something if they don't see it happen, or it isn't logged into the cars memory. And honestly, even if they did experience it, they still would not have an easy time fixing it until it breaks all the way.
I imagine Ford will have to come up with some diagnostics computer to find this gremlin.

New issue reporter here. Nearly 8000 miles on my car. Happened yesterday after for the first time. I was pulling up to a stop sign and put the clutch in, shifted to neutral and let the clutch back out. Just died silently, no vibrations or stuttering. Did it again at the next stop sign about half a mile later. Each time it restarted without issue and never happened again that day. Drove to work today, no issue. On leaving work, it happened at the first stop sign doing the same thing. I don't know what the pattern is.

Damn. You got me paranoid now. I just turned 6000 miles and haven't had any weird stuff happen. I need to drive this car more so any bugs get worked out while I still have the warranty.

My GT has done this 6 times now. All within a mile of my house though. Stalls when clutch is engaged and slowing down to come to a stop. Another issue I'm having is the car feels like it's bogging down sometimes when I put it in reverse backing out of a parking spot. Only mods I have are Stainless Works cat back exhaust and Steeda lowering springs. Dropped my car off at the dealership today for them to look at it. They said they have had a few others come in with similar problems.

Would you prefer they keep it until it happens again? What if that takes months?
No but I would prefer them to check some basic stuff instead of scanning for codes and determining the car is fine bc its not throwing any. These are car engines, albeit complex engines, but not rockets. Why not check vaccuum lines? Fuel pressure? O2 sensor? These things can and should be checked, by someone trained by Ford, when an issue like this is occuring. Not just drive it once and check for codes and go sorry.

Dealership scanned for codes on my car and found a faulty throttle body so they replaced it. I'll know within a week or two if this completely solved the problem of the car randomly dying.

Hmmm... Odd that other cars had no thrown codes. I checked mine with a reader and codes are clear. This is why BAMA wanted me to data log to see if I can catch it, that way they can at least see if the data log reveals anything. I thought it was tuning related when I first experienced it. Now we know it's just Ford related as it happened a couple of times without tune. I'll be taking mine to the dealer to see what they can find or at least just have a record of it with the issue reported.
I also urge others to file to the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration for the issue be recorded.

UPDATE WITH CODE (6/26/15):

So after receiving my car back from the dealer Monday, I just now had this happen to me again. This time I was prepared. I restarted it pulled over in a parking lot and shut the car off. I then restarted it while holding the left OK button to put it in Engineering Mode. I went to the codes section and found a code stored in the history. I'm assuming this just came up since the dealership ran for current and historical codes and found none.

The code is C21200. I googled but couldn't find anything. Does the C mean its a chassis code? I'm assuming this means its electrical/sensory related?

I'm going over to the dealer either this afternoon or first thing in the morning tomorrow. I'll update this thread with what it is/if its fixed.

EDIT: So I googled the issue and apparently the dtc's thrown in the engineering mode aren't OBD codes. Only codes related to the gauge cluster go there. So idk I guess I'll head to the dealer anyway and have them scan it?

Do you know what the code was?

Something very similar happened to me a few weeks ago. I was coming up to a red light to make a right turn into a shopping center (uphill street). Put it in neutral and then 2nd as I was making the turn. Stepped on the gas and nothing happened. It felt as if the car ran out of gas. Looked at the instrument panel and saw the RPM at 0 and a message stating 'Run Power Active'. Since I was going slow and turned onto an uphill street the car came to a stop. Started it back up and went about my way. Checked the battery cables afterwards and everything seemed fine. Has not reoccurred so far.

Main difference is that my car is completely stock at the moment.
This happened to me today downshifting from 4th to 2nd doing a turn in a corner. I'm 100% stock too!

UPDATE 08/15/15:

This happened to me 6 times on my 7 mile commute to work this morning. My car is bone stock. The last time I was at the dealer, they told me as a temp fix to only put premium fuel in the car. I have been putting nothing but premium in for the whole month of July.

Things I noticed this morning:
1) On startup the idle would surge to ~2000RPMs then back to 1000 and then up again and back.

2)EXCESSIVE amounts of transmission whine.

3)Clutch "shocking" the gear. Rather than a smooth engagement, almost everytime I let the clutch out it would jerk the whole car causing speed to change. It felt like downshifting without rev matching.

4) Noticeable power loss on acceleration.

Based on this I'm wondering if this is drivetrain related issues. That wouldn't cause any codes/CEL to be thrown right?

I'm supposed to be making a 3 hour commute to Delaware on saturday this is awful timing for this issue to return.

Just drove 3 1/2 hrs all highway and my car did it the first time I stopped. 6,800 Jlt intake and full exhaust with a dyno tune . 1st time it has happened and same as everyone else started right back up.

Just out of curiosity what is your setting for
Driver assist - Auto Engine Off ( wild guess that this is somehow related to the random issue of topic)

I first thought it was something with what gearI grabbed going
into a slow left hand turn onto the highway. But trying to duplicate this the engine did as expected and grump about being in 6th at way to low of rpm.
It did not die. So I seem to have this spooky clutch and turn killing the engine. Engine just struggle its just like you turn everything off. Kinda scary to know that it could happen anytime now.

Only had 2015 GT for a few weeks. Love it to death. Despite the struggle with getting started in first gear the way I'm used to in other stick cars.
Clutch spring delete may be in my future. The engine just quitting is scary.

Mine is set to on and I've been wondering if that had anything to do with the car shutting off. My car has done it 4 times in total from what I remember ever since I picked it up last year in october. I'm going to turn off the Auto Engine Off feature and see if there is any difference.
