Don’t stress about the O-ring. They’re entirely reusable. something I should mention though, specific to RHD cars, is the fuel line. I’ll throw some pics up for you tomorrow. You’ll probably need to grab some bits to make it work properly.

Not sure if the photo worked. But that o ring is too small for the SC. Even if the diameter was correct the groove in the SC is not deep enough.

I'm intrigued about the fuel line. My kit has the 180 fitting and the braided fuel line. I removed the factory fuel line with the round plastic disconnect tools. Seems ok...

Mine came with new round gasket. It was in one of the bags and “doubled up” so it looked small.

How did everyone cut off the rear half circle of the coil covers? I timed all the tabs but wasn’t sure how to approach the round edge on step 62.

Also, what exactly was meant by the Vaseline comment and being your friend? For your hands getting cut up getting the bolts in or a genius tip on making everything work?

I don’t recall the specifics of the trimming but the comment re Vaseline would be suggesting that lubing the o-rings under the blower will make it easier to slide it around that tiny bit that you’ll likely need to get the bolts lined up. You have NO hope without it.

It also helps hold the gaskets in while you lift it on. I used Oring lube, but same sort of idea.

Yah, that won't work. You need the oring. Might as well have them send it in the same box as the brass sensor. I think mine was in the same bag as my plug for the aspirator.

My SC came with an adapter since i went stage 2 and i need 2 of those orings. They were in separate bags and they are very thin. I almost missed one of them so open every bag to be sure.I opened every bag into a separate container with the label taped to the lid and i still missed the o ring. They hard as hell to get from EB and i have a spare if all else fails. The vaseline of something similar is to help the SC move around.

I have read through this thread from start to finish and i see a lot of people complaining about the EB tune. When i was ready for the tune they sent me a 91 and a 93 tune and i am currently on the 91. We have 94 where i live in canada which is really lucky but if i go outside the city they may not so i went conservative. So far i have 0 complaints, the driveability at low speed and around town is great and as long as i drive civilized my mileage has not changed and the AFR tracks quite well though a bit rich under power and it absolutely rips. Still crappy weather here so i have not done any logging yet but that will come soon . Like anyone i will most likely want more powah! and perhaps i will spring for a tune but for now its great.

the car is a 2016 pp2 with MT 82.

Thanks for everyone's responses.

I contacted Edelbrock a few days ago in regards to the brass sensor. I gave them my address in that same email. I got a response back asking if I had a state side address or freight forwarding.

I responded back with a no and asked how to proceed. Waited 24 hours and got nothing back.

I sent another email asking for confirmation and it's been 24 hours and got no response.

Now I may need to send them another email about the o ring. I just don't wanna be that guy!

If I can't get one I might have to make my own with a silicone gasket maker.

@Burkey did see my explanation re fuel line. I think mine is all good.

Yeah mate, saw that. I think you’ll be fine. They didn’t supply mine with any fuel line, so I guess yours should work out.

There’s no “being that guy” man. You paid multiple thousands of dollars for a kit. It should have both the oring and the updated sensor. Personally I feel that their lack of responses to people lately is unacceptable.

I had a myriad of problems with my kit and dealing with edelbrock had to be the most frustrating and stressful experience i have ever had. I can send you my spare if you like not like i will ever need it. I live in canada and they wanted me to provide a stateside address or use a reshipper and i was like no this is your friggin problem just get what i need to me. Big corporations who dont sell direct to customer have a real problem with warranty issues. Let me know if you want the oring or the dimensions.

Dealing with Edelbrock is by far the worse part of their kit, next to the blower making zero whine :( If you have zero issues and go custom tuning though, it's not a bad buy.

Going back and forth with their "tuning" tech about how awful their can tune is was abysmal.

I was confused a little about trimming the top off the rear coil. The picture was a bit confusing as well. So I just trimmed off the top of the 2 rear ones....

What did you end up doing about delivery @socketman? I'm just not getting a response from them...
