Several of us have been waiting patiently for the 15-17 cars to be covered. Edelbrock's 2019 catalog (only the full one, not the blower catalog) linked below has the following part numbers for 15-17 cars on page 156:Is the stage 2 with bigger throttle body and inlet etc available for a 2016?
I was on the Edelbrock chat for a long time but left the chat with mixed answers. There’s was lots of “ask this persons”.
Thanks!
Much appreciated!
I could certainly be mistaken about that, it would make more sense to include it, so maybe it is. It’s definitely not included in the Stage 1 or Pro Tuner kits.So the 103 mm throttle body isn’t included in the stage 2???
WTF Edelbrock... nickel and dime, nickel and dime...
The 132 comes with the whipple stage 2! Just sayin’...
This is incorrect. The throttle bodies are sold separate for use with the Pro Tuner kit PN 15899. Stage 2 compete kits 15839, 158390, 15388 and 153880 will come with the 103mm throttle body.So the 103 mm throttle body isn’t included in the stage 2???

If you have your own SCT device we will provide an email calibration free of charge. The kits used to be listed as with tuner or without tuner, not "tune". I clarified with Edelbrock previously that if you get the without tuner kit (since I already have an SCT device) that you can still get their tune to load by email included in the cost. Perhaps Edelbrock Tech can clarify if that's still the case, since I definitely do want Edelbrock's tune, but don't need another tuner.
How long away for a stage 2 for a 2016? Days weeks or months??It's no secret since our catalog has to be printed by a certain time of the year...This page shows our Mustang Supercharger line-up for 2019. Part numbers in RED is NEW and features the new inlet compatible with the 103mm throttle bodies. 15832 and 158320 are available and shipping. The 103mm throttle bodies, Stage 2 and the Pro Tuner kit are not far away.
It is very quiet. Very slight noise at idle, exhaust covers it any other time. Most people will never know you have it.Is the 2650 very loud, whine wise?
Yep, Mine whines louder during part throttle when my exhaust doesn't drown it out. Was thinking of doing the sound tube thing, but dont feel like spending the money on non-performance parts right nowIt is very quiet. Very slight noise at idle, exhaust covers it any other time. Most people will never know you have it.
I’m tossing ideas around still. I need something that will live in cold weather (rules out Paxton and Vortech). Don’t want to cut the front brace (rules out VMP and Roush). I’ve ruled out turbos I think. So that leaves Procharger, Whipple and Edelbrock. Has to work and fit with adaptive cruise as well. How do you guys feel about this kit? I'm using my car as a daily and thinking about this or a Vortech, a Whipple is nice but I can't justify spending 9k right now for one. Any and all feedback would be much appreciated!
