I have a 2020 GT350 that needed the ECU replaced because it was damaged. I got a new one from Ford and had Flagship install the OEM calibration on it. Key operates the doors, trunk and alarm. I push the start button and the nothing happens.

Thanks in advance for any help.

Does it go into power start mode or just zero response when hitting the start button?

Their light goes solid green when I hit the button but no starter activation. Good battery and have added a Jump Pack to it thinking the battery was low and that didn't help.

Does the dash and infotainment system turn on?

Just trying to figure out if the car is not cranking or if it’s not wanting to go into power start mode/start.

I think I read somewhere that I may need to take into dealer to reprogram the PATS?

Yes, the dash and Info system comes a live and works.

You could have stopped at Flagship... absolutely garbage company to deal with. A bad PCM would not even surprise me with them. Assuming everything is good, there should have been some very specific procedures to follow when installing. Did you get this and follow them?

So did the dealership install the PCM and they can’t get it started (figured out)? I am trying to figure out why they can’t figure it out if it’s in their possession with Trained Techs and the hardware capabilities to not only diagnose but also to reprogram or flash a PCM…

Or did you buy the PCM and install it yourself and are now having issues?

The later. I bought it to replace the physically damaged ECU. Had Flagship flash with OEM calibration. Haven't taken to dealership yet. That is where it is headed soon. I thought I ask the brain trust before I took it over there.

Are you getting any error messages in the dash cluster or by checking via a code reader or the internal Engineering Mode? You don’t need a fancy scanner to get the DTC’s.

If you have a 2015-2020 with the ANALOG gauge cluster, you should be able to enter the “Engineer Test Mode”.

Follow this link:
https://www.mustang6g.com/forums/threads/engineering-test-mode.27581/

If you you have a 2018+ with the DIGITAL cluster, you should be able to access the same test mode found here:

Also, was the vehicle in an accident, because if it was and the accident was an event that triggered any air bags, that will also stop the car from starting….
