The v6 genesis is the only one that make now. At 26k, it is bad.
Its pretty ridiculous that the new one makes 350 hp I believe. More then the ford, chevy, and Dodge v6 cars. Still not a fan of Hyundai though.

I mean horsepower is all relative, people are only stuck on the numbers manufactures put out. I did test drive one before I bought the mustang. The v6 was really peppy and the exhaust note was pretty good, but the mustang is on another level with styling and options

I wasn't a fan of ford at all, but I gave them a try. I wanted a turboed car, so I went with the mustang. In reality, I am more of a import person.

When I was driving my EB home from the dealer on stock tune and the 87 gas in it after leaving my 300whp genesis coupe I was having a sinking buyers remorse feeling, it was horrendous acceleration. bolt on and tunes make it a much more exciting car to drive, if I had to drive the EB stock I wouldn't even own it lol.
Yeah I know how you feel. I had been daily driving my 2001 Z28 with 360whp. A few weeks in and I was ready to sell the Mustang. Luckily adding a CAI and tune really helped change my mind. It sounded much better and felt a ton better to drive. I would not have kept it for more than a month if I had to keep it stock.

Genesis 2.0T is slow even with mods, the v6 Genesis is more of a performance car to me.
Ehh mine wasn't slow by any means with BTR tune and bolt ons(it was the 274hp 4cyl 2010-12 210hp were dogs lol), and similar mods the 2.0 will walk the v6, it kinda rained all over the v6 guys parade, the aftermarket support for the genesis isn't all I was hoping that's why I switched to EB

I've always thought that v6 sounded great. I Prefer that over a v8 note actually.

Ive owned both and I'm pretty positive v6 would win. More top end rather then dropping off at 5500 rpm's. Again were talking stock vs stock.
I pulled with a '14 V6 and we stayed right next to each other the entire time. I was pretty surprised at the fact that we dead even the entire time without anybody inching ahead.

Reading this thread gave me Diabeatis.
Honestly everytime i walk away from this car i look back twice, it's not "slow" it just needs a tune to wake it up. Whats really got me going is the way this thing moves. Nimble as hell and the road feel thro the wheel is superb. I'm beginning to form a really bad habit of sliding around every corner just bc i can with ease. if yall like the Genesis so much why dont you marry one? also OP what exactly is the question? but in like English

I guess I am one of the only people that don't think that the EB feels slow. I test drove the 2015 V6 and the EB and the EB felt a lot faster at any time during the drive. I am not sure how the last model V6s felt. I do think that the "normal" mode that is default on the car is awful. I always drive in Sport+ or Track. The normal mode kills the throttle response.

One of the reasons I love the car is that it feels really quick in low rpms aka daily driving range. I do think that it really needed a bigger intercooler and the fact that it doesn't have it tends to kill it's track times. The smaller turbo and the smaller intercooler signals to me that it was designed as a DD and Ford was focusing the track attention to the GT and GT350/R.

Reason the stock EB feels especially slow to me is because I came from an 11sec daily driver. My previous turbo vehicle ran 11s on straight 93 and then I added methanol injection which brought the car to another level.

I never made it to the drag strip with the meth system installed as the car kept blowing head gaskets and drivetrain parts after turning up the wick with the meth but it was def a low 11 sec car.

One thing I can say though is that stock vs stock the EB is faster than my Eclipse was.
