I opted for the muffler delete with no regrets. My car is almost stock but few cheap mods I have make the car more fun to drive. Its no faster than stock, but definitely more fun and for the wife and I thats perfectly ok.

I pulled with a '14 V6 and we stayed right next to each other the entire time. I was pretty surprised at the fact that we dead even the entire time without anybody inching ahead.

Yes, since getting the car back from the dealer I've had no excessive smoking. I still get normal exhaust during startup but no smoke during an extended warm idle.
-Drew
That is pretty nice- I've been hearing a lot of "dealer will void your warranty if you go in with mods" talk which wasn't the case.
I get the impression that more bad experiences are posted than good. I had a good dealer and good maintenance done.

Pretty sure it's been posted that the stock air box isn't bad. If you are not heavily modded I doubt the performance difference will be noticeable. I mostly like my MMR intake for the sound!

Morning Mustang6G!
I bought my Turbo stang in February 2015 and have about 17k on the clock so far. A few weeks ago I noticed increased smoking at idle and decided to get the TSB taken care of as well as the thermal recall.
On the morning of 8 January 2016 I walked into my local Ford...
They started life as TC Sounds 5100 18s. They were designed for stadium or home theater use and rated for 800w. After testing the motor a bit I changed all the soft parts out. Stiffer progressive spiders, larger leads, high roll foam surround, etc. Then a added a liquid cooling system for...
That gets into sales territory, people want to feel like they're getting more for their money. The average buyer wants more more more and increasing the speaker count does that. BTW my neo subwoofers are about 28lbs each and they are about as strong as a 70lb iron ferrite subwoofer.

And I'm just over here thinking my ecoboost is fast...
The way I see it, I still managed to get class III misdemeanor criminal speeding in my "slow" ecoboost so why would I possibly want anything faster?

The seat slides 6" to the rear when the car turns off and then slides forward 6" when you start it up. That makes it really easy to get long legs out from under the steering wheel.
-Drew
I guess the leg to torso ratio makes a difference. I also drive with the seat a bit close because I don't like the feeling of "reaching" for the clutch and keep the seat more reclined. I guess its possible that somebody with an auto may ride with the seat farther back and more upright.

Just to clarify the speakers here- The factory speaker uses NRT (Neo-radial technology) from the looks of it. This speaker uses a very strong Neo magnet instead of the traditional iron ferrite material found on the Dayton. The advantages being: Flat BL curve (great SQ), smaller, lighter, and...
Without getting into tech mumbo jumbo- I'll just assume you've ridden a mountain bike at some point in your childhood (Who hasn't?)
A lower number gear (3.1 or 3.3) would be like riding your mountain bike from a stop in 12th gear. You start a bit slow and have to pedal a long time to reach...
This is crazy talk!
I know it can be awkward to get into and out of- but the cabin space is great for tall drivers. The seat has plenty of adjustment, plus the auto slide to help you in and out makes it perfect for 6+ drivers. I'm 6'3" and my dad plus father in law are 6'4" and they all had...
UPDATE-
I took the stang in for the thermal recall initial inspection as well as an initial look at the TSB for smoking. They were pretty reluctant to do the TSB look and order parts, so it was a HUGE benefit to have the service bulletin printed out and on hand. THANK YOU.

What? RWD is great as long as you have traction- as soon as you start spinning your options collapse to almost nothing. With a FWD car in the snow you can alternate forward/reverse/left/right to move the front end around and look for traction.
