What's "butt hurt"? Your sexual proclivities? Dude, I'm not "butthurt" or sensitive or offended by anything you've said. So no need for you to "indulge" whatever you're trying to say. As to whether or not my experience is paying off in your estimation, let me say that I chose to give up a 2013 GT to get this 2015V-6 vert because it was a steal with all the options for $28,700. It's a nice placeholder car until I can buy a GT350 or next years Mach I. I shopped your exact Mustang EB with the 50 appearance package but I could not get the Convertable with AT and the PP. I bought the V-6 because it was a true bargain. And now I'm finding out it's a great capable vehicle. I never said the base V-6 was more comfortable than the base EB. You seemed to want to correct me over my agreeing with the reviewer. It's OK for a young man like yourself to try to put an old man down...y'all have been trying that for centuries. Nothing wrong with young men thinking that they are always right either, time and life will set you straight. I'm the father of three grown sons, so I have some experience with cocky young males. Back to your new Mustang experience, do not be ashamed that your present Mustang is your first Mustang. We all had our "firsts"... You have bought a good one. I'm on my 10th and will continue on owning them. You, on the other hand, might go on to BMWs or such if you're "Butthurt" with your first. Please keep on acting like you know what you're talking about. We old timers are truly amused.

So you belittle the guy for acting like he knows it all and it's okay because hes young and you're older...makes sense. [emoji37]

I'm young & this is my first Mustang so I guess I don't know anything either but I think the V6 is a hell of a bargain and I would've considered it had it had more options. I also think what Ecoswag was saying was in defense of both models; I think that they should've done their review with a base Eco and 3.55 gears for both.

I have never driven the V6, not even a test drive so i cannot comment on the difference between the rides. Lets just all get along and bask in the glory of driving an S550! [emoji3]

I'm not belittling anyone because they know what they are talking about. He interjected my age, and that I regretted my decision, and that I was "Butthurt". He got testy when I asked him if this was his first Mustang. When you post on this Forum you expect a bit of give-and-take and that's how we exchange information and learn from each. I agreed with the reviewer and quoted him and said that's what I based my purchasing decision on. But this young dude, insisted on telling me that I had misread the article. I can take young people thinking they have all the answers and that they are always right. But I won't take snarky comments that insult my intelligence. It's just how old Mustangers are! You can always tell when a person's argument starts to fall apart, as they in veritably will resort to name calling, innuendo, and mud-slinging. I'm not "ButtHurt" but I'm embarrassed for this kid. Let's all try to stick to the topic without insinuating my intelligence is faulty, that I somehow have regrets for buying my V-6, or the condition of my Butt. OK everyone?

Basically what I got out of this was: if you're on a budget get the v6; It's fun to drive and has perks that the eco doesn't. If you can spend a little more get the eco; It's fun to drive and has perks that the v6 doesn't. Either way, you're going to enjoy this Mustang.

You've got the right spirit. There are no bad engine choices for this generation Mustang. We all have our reasons for engine choices. Some are money constraints, some are HP power desires, and some are simplicity of engines. Or like me choosing the V-6 just because I've never had one. Loved my two Coyote Mustangs and that doesn't mean that I don't love the V-6. I shopped the EB but I already own an Escape 2.0 EB and a Ford 150 3.5EB . Didn't want a third EB vehicle. I have two friends that have bought the EB Mustangs on my recommendations. I'm excited about Mustang's future now worldwide!

Have you told us what makes the V6 more comfortable yet?

Comfort is a matter of opinion and perspective. Both of which are unique to each individual. There really isn't an option that is more comfortable than another. If offered at the same price, you wouldn't see everyone choosing Recaro seats, or leather seats, or cloth seats - more than likely you'd see all three being chosen as someone's preferred comfort.

V6 is indeed more comfortable

That's what I would want my high school daughter to have because I would be comfortable knowing that she wont get herself in too much trouble.

OK Attention all Mustang Aficionados... Here's the reviewer's statement, "Smoother, more
comfortable and cheaper, these are advantages to the V-6 model, especially in base trim." I agree the reviewer meant base V-6 in comparison to an EBPP. But I do comprehend that he meant "more comfortable" to describe his perception of the V-6's advantages, otherwise, why else would he include it in that sentence? I can quote the pertinent passages of the review to everyone on this thread...but unfortunately, I cannot understand the passage for some who post here. Most erudite individuals can grasp the reviewer's meaning and intentions when he said, "Smoother, more comfortable and cheaper...". Some here just want to argue... Oh yea, a fatter wallet because of all the money one might save in buying a V-6 makes the V-6 more comfortable. Fatter wallets make me more comfortable. How about y'all?

The reviewer was comparing the cars he tested and found the V-6 the more comfortable of the two, understandably so because of the PP on the EB. That should not be taken to mean that every V-6 is inherently more comfortable than every EB; his comment would apply only to 2 Mustangs equipped specifically as his testers were.

You are exactly right! And I've said that in four posts in this thread. Both cars should have been base and both should have had the 3.55 ratios. But Ford doesn't provide the reviewers with similarly equipped vehicles to compare and contrast. So great is their desire to promote the EB. Everyone knows that the ride is not as comfortable in the EBPP as the ride in the premium EB. And the ride in the GTPP is not as comfortable as the ride in the Premium GT without PP. The reviewer could have made his point clearer. I believe he upset some of the EB fans.
