I don't think that a 4 cylinder turbo will ever sound as good as that, but fingers crossed right? :D

I hope RIP Tuning does a catback version as well. Not sure I want a full turboback right now. Anybody have more videos of the Borla Touring yet?

Good news!

Our Magnaflow Competiton catback just arrived last Friday for our EB.

Once we get the recall service performed, we will have it installed and have a few videos for you guys

The kit itself looks fantastic! The tips are a dramatic improvement over the undersized factory ones

Got any pictures? I'm VERY interested in Magnaflow's kit, I usually love how their stuff sounds.

Our photographer hasn't taken any pictures for me yet, it's still in the packaging.

However, I took a look at the tips and the welds etc...it's a very clean design

I'm interested to see how it sounds. I'm hoping it's not as buzzy as some of the other exhaust-clips I've heard on YouTube

We will be producing a dyno-video as well

Are the tips rolled or slash cut? I love 3-4" rolled tips.

Let me know. I'm interested. :)

Same here. I'm going to install two magnaflow mufflers with a straight pipe in place of the resonator. All on the stock exhaust. At least for now.

Anyone have an opinion on stock pipe diameter? Is it restrictive? If no at what point would it become restrictive?

They are rolled and appear to be 4 1/2" tips. They are massive

Our photographer sent me a picture on Friday with his whole fist in there lol

Went in and listened to the Livernois Exhaust.

I'm not exactly sure which stage it was, but I know it at least had the downpipe and mid section (which includes the resonator delete). It sounded good! The RPM down low is more similar to RIP Tuning, but the high end has more sound to it and the turbo comes through more. I'm not sure if it's just because I haven't heard the RIP Tuning exhaust in person, but it doesn't seem to have much top end sound and sounds almost completely muffled. This sounds more meaty, with a growl up top. I'm looking forward to the video they produce, and will purchase this exhaust over the others I've heard. It doesn't have the tinny/bee sound that's present in the Ford Racing Sport exhaust or the MRT exhaust.

Got a walk around the shop. Very clean, with mills and tooling for block boring and any head work. Looking forward to the future items that will be coming out of this place for the Ecoboost.

The stock pipe diameter won't matter because the mufflers are much more of a restriction. Compared to the rest of the exhaust the Resonator actually flows nicely so replacing it and keeping the stock mufflers would not be any gain in performance. it would just change the sound.

Inside the stock muffler.. Pictures..

Getting a TBE will be a gain just for the weight savings. For both the Ecoboost and the GT.... pretty excited.

It may be negligible, but hey if you can save ~50lbs.. that's better than working out ;) lol
