I don't have my stang but.. I keep a basic toolkit in the trunk. It's got some screwdrivers, wrenches, a portable battery jump starter, microfiber clothes, light sticks, flashlights, and a knife (don't tell the cops)

A combo of snow tires and light throttle should be enough for you to get around. You're just being paranoid ;)

Is the premium with no options? (auto, performance pack, etc.)? Also, you can always head to another dealership and see if they are more willing to work with your numbers. Remember.. the dealership always profits. It's just a matter of how much. Good luck!
