I dont worry about gas stations in my area (Houston) as I use GasJockey. They come to me and fill it up. I run E85, and depending on their blend could be as high as E90. They will test it before putting it in my car for free and show me.

I dont run a tune, but do use a flex fuel device. I dont plan on doing any major mods (headers, intake, ect.), but did want to run E85.

Car woke up and runs great.

What mpg are yall averaging with E85 all the time?
14 MPG at a steady 75-80, 6.5 MPG around town (lots of stop and go) and getting on it frequently. Mine is boosted though.

Sorry to post this but the Flex Tune for MUSTANGS IS DEAD.
LUND FOUND OUT IT SIMPLY CAN NOT BE OPTOMIZED FOR THE MUSTANG SOFTWARE/HARDWARE.

DOES NO HARM TO HAVE ONE BUT MAX PERFORMANCE CAN NOT BE GAINED ON FLEX.

the 15-17 require upgraded injectors.
They do not. I have tested E85 on my 17 with a GT350 IM and stock injectors. They hit 95% duty cycle at 7800 RPM. The stock manifold maxes out at 82% at 7400 on E85.

Stock manifold is good to go on stock injectors. If using a better IM you should up the injector.

Lund is getting ready to sell the PCMtec can-bus flex tune and hardware. Much higher profit margin for them.

The flex logic from Ford works although it does have some limits.

I'm not sure the profit is the driving factor. They simply do no trust the logic in high powered cars, user adjustable flex or a flex sensor where you can manually lock the content if needed is much safer. So this gives them something to fill the void, especially when people aren't fully draining the tanks or are using sub E80 unknowingly.

I'll buy this. The can bus is the best system, but I don't think it is necessary on a N/A Mustang.

I'm fortunate that there's an E85 station in every town within 100 miles of my house. The closest is 3 miles away.
I live in south Jersey and I would have to drive kinda of far to run E85 so it's not for me.. But I get why PPL use it especially when there are stations all around them that have it..
