can't put a price on happinessHoly Shnikies Batman, that's bad, But that's the price you pay to pay while being kind to your engine.

E85 makes less power than gas part for part, you dont use it for mpg, it's for an octane boost and helps with combustion chamber cooling. I ran E85 in my coyote f150, had it tuned for 93 and E85, the E85 made great power but at a cost fuel economy. Doing the math it cost about 15% more to run than gas. When I first went on E85, my DTE, was in the upper 200ās, but over time it started showing less miles DTE just like you guys. I donāt know what installing the new pump may have had to do with that, but now itās been restored to upper 200ās. If memory serves me correctly, on the last fill up, I saw 296 DTE.
Smiles per gallon or is it smiles per miles? Lolcan't put a price on happiness![]()
Oh, I completely agree and run it for the same reasons that you said. I was just pointing out that my DTE has been wonky. I couldnāt care less about the mileage, as I donāt daily my car. I especially prefer to run it with nitrous over 93.E85 makes less power than gas part for part, you dont use it for mpg, it's for an octane boost and helps with combustion chamber cooling. Corolla. It is a definite "smiles per gallon" situation. You have to pay to play. If you want a mileage car, get an ecoboost.
