In my EB with lots of highway driving, I usually average about 29-30 mpg per tank.

I smell bullshit

Must be your own.

I get 8l/100km equals 29.4 US mpg at 75-80 mph

at 60 mph I get 39 US mpg.

On cruise control, on flat highways.

If I drive like a jackass I get less

Your ecoboost will kill my GT in city fuel economy.

You are telling me you average 30 mpg highway? 5 mpg better than the EPA estimate for highway? Nah. Not gonna happen. This isn't a diesel where the EPA estimates are lower than actual. In gasers, you usually get the same EPA estimate or lower than the EPA. You may average 30 mpg for a mile or two. You aren't averaging that for the whole tank on a highway trip though. The new Corvette gets 30 mpg highway with less weight, better aerodynamics, and Active Fuel Management.

What gears are you running??

Let's see a dash pic of your actual mileage then there's the proof you need! the best I ever got was 24.2mpg driving door to door 450 miles from Surrey BC to Coeur d Lane Idaho and I do have a pic at home!! freeway driving up over the pass doing 65-70 mph it's 3:73gears!!

As I said, on flat highway I get what I get. if its uphill I don't get those figures. Downhill I get better.

And I DGAF about what the EPA estimates are. I'm beating them on the highway and slightly better than the figures quoted for the city.

Manual, 3.31 gears

My mpg is too high. I'm sitting at 19mpg right. Shitty weather means no fun. Should be closer to 17 honestly.

3.31 gears, will get a pic when I have a passenger. If I try by myself with my luck LE will catch me and then I'm screwed.

3.73 gears won't get as good mileage as 3.31 I believe? So your 24.2 is probably good for those gears

Actual MPG is miles driven divided by amount of gas to fill up the tank. Anything else is BS regardless what the car calculates on the dash.

Not true......if you fill up in the cool morning hours, you will get more gas than at warmer temps! So if you are basing it on that....it'll be different amounts cooler vs warmer temps!

More bullshit today and I don't even own a dog. This has been proven false many times. It doesn't matter what time of day you fill up, you get the same amount of gas. If you want sources, let me know and I'll hook you up with 'em.

Was getting 10-11mpg city when I first got this car like 3 weeks ago. Now I'm getting 13-14mpg city. That's already close to what my 2015 V6 was getting, I'm hoping I can pump out 15-17mpg city soon as I break this engine in lol. I don't really pay too much attention though, its too up and down to really get an accurate reading and there are too much factors to play when it comes to MPG. The only thing I pay attention to is the price of gas. $2.50 isn't bad, but if it shoots up to $4+

I'll see your BS and raise ya one...

I’ve been in petroleum pipeline business for about 31 years, currently working for the Kinder-Morgan Pipeline here in San Jose, CA. We deliver about 4 million gallons in a 24-hour period from the pipe line; one day it’s diesel, the next day it’s jet fuel and gasoline. We have 34 storage tanks here with a total capacity of 16,800,000 gallons. Here are some tricks to help you get your money’s
worth:
1. Fill up your car or truck in the morning when the temperature is still cool. Remember that all service stations have their storage tanks buried below ground; and the colder the ground, the denser the gasoline. When it gets warmer gasoline expands, so if you’re filling up in the afternoon or in the evening, what should be a gallon is not exactly a gallon. In the petroleum business, the specific gravity and temperature of the fuel (gasoline, diesel, jet fuel, ethanol and other petroleum products) are significant. Every truckload that we load is temperature-compensated so that the indicated gallonage is actually the amount pumped. A one-degree rise in temperature is a big deal for businesses, but service stations don’t have temperature compensation at their pumps.

Not my words....

I've found that a lot depends on the gas you're using. On 87 I get 30.2 on the highway and 25 - 27 in the city. But when I switch to 93, I get 25.7 on the highway and around 22 in the city. Car is stock with no mods.
