That is really good if average speed of the entire trip was 80. If you averaged 55, it "could" have given you 35 for the same trip, considering there is typically a 28% hit of fuel consumption for going 80 vs 55. Then again there are variables such as drag coefficient, gear ratio, etc.. Hmm interesting.27.9 on a 400 mile road trip with 95% highway. Average speed was 80mph.
