Dumb Question About The Glove Box

I went into the garage and pressed the yellow button and my V6 changed into a GT!!!

I really don't understand how someone can confuse the 12v aux hinge cap as a button. If they weren't sure what it was, surely they would have tried at least pressing it or touching it to figure out what it was.
