That's actually pretty damn hysterical. So if a ferrari can drive in that I think I'm fine as long as it doesn't go up to the nose. The way the paragraph stated it seemed like you can't drive in hard rain at all.

When you drive thru standing water deep enough that it gets on the pulley's, then you stand a good chance of soaking major electrical parts and your air filter. Thus hydrolic damage to the engine. Rent a car!

He probably figured that since the engine and intake are high up in the rear he'd be ok.

I can't believe that anyone that owns a car like that could stomach that, however... unless this was some type of emergency or it wasn't their car.

I ingested water into a 2004 GTO through a cold air intake. I threw a rod through my LS1.

Are Stupid and Lucky at the same time. But don't expect the same outcome if water washes up over the hood of your Mustang. :headbonk:
