I'm experiencing this annoying rattling sound at highway speeds that seems to be wind based. It starts up at about 60mph and progressively gets to its worst at 80mph. The sound doesn't seem mechanical. I'm linking below a Reddit thread where I've uploaded a video. Its hard to hear at first but as the camera gets closer to the A pillar it becomes more noticeable to the camera. (Unfortunately, the rattle doesn't sound as loud on camera with all the road noise. )

Any Ideas as what this could be? I've already checked the inside of the fender to see if there was tubing that wasn't secured but turns out that is only on the passenger side. I've checked the plastic wheel well coverings and did notice that one push pin is missing. Could one missing push pin on the plastic fender covers cause this? I've read that the rocker panels can cause rattles when their push pins are not correctly placed, I've checked those and they are seated correctly. I will also be checking my hood alignment as I've heard that the hood can cause rattles if not properly seated against the hood bumpers, will report back once that has been checked.

any help or input is greatly appreciated. The rattle is driving me nuts.

Wow man, that is annoying! Hard to say where its coming from just by listening to the video. I had a similar sound from the driver side A pillar. Turned out to be two things: 1) the little plastic string/latch to hold the A pillar cover stick to the metal was buzzing and rattling. I used electric tape to warp around the plastic (where it secures into a notch in the A pillar) to prevent it from buzzing. 2) The plug that went into the A pillar tweeter was lose from the factory. No matter if I pushed it in properly, it would buzz and rattle. I taped the connector going into the tweeter and it has been trouble free for 2+ years now.

Unfortunately, I have no idea where your noise is originating without sitting in the car and listening in person.

Good luck!

Check the following and do each diagnosis 1 at a time to isolate the concern.

All securing fasteners for the inner wheel wells. Reach in, find the fastener and turn to tighten. Repeat on all for every wheel well liner.

All securing fasteners for the black rocker body pieces. Find and locate all fasteners, push in and repeat for both L & R rockers.

I’d also check the following as sources of rattles:

Check the trans block spacer plate, it’s a common issue across the S550 and F150 platform:
https://www.mustang6g.com/forums/threads/engine-transmission-plate-noise-fix.115718/

https://www.mustang6g.com/forums/th...hen-accelerating-hard-above-4000k-rpm.107728/

Check the emergency brake cable and attaching assembly found under the driver side trans tunnel. This has been a known source of metallic rattle as well and is hard to replicate unless in a certain RPM range. The cable is loose and raps against the trans tunnel under certain conditions OR could be touching exhaust mid pipe. How to adjust the cable and assembly:
https://www.mustang6g.com/forums/threads/how-to-adjust-your-parking-brake.25204/

If looking at both the e-brake and spacer plate from under the car, yes visually they will look “fine”, but take a closer look to make sure both are not a source of the rattle.

Check the driveshaft center support bearing assembly. There is a small aluminum plate attached to the bottom of it which comes loose and rattles - see this thread:

If equipped with MT82, check this thread for the source of clunk/rattle coming from under car:
