They definitely could but the thing with branding and PR is that you have to have a consistent message. You can't tell people you want the future to be like the Jetsons and then still have old-school muscle cars with big loud engines. Right now they're trying to keep both sides happy, but it won't last. Every press conference they give they keep saying how the future is electric and autonomous. The hybrid Mustang is the first step, eventually it'll go all electric to keep the Mustang relevant in an all-electric world if that does in fact end up being the future.Couldn't Ford do GT350/500s and other performance models as niche/specialty market vehicles, and still be profitable? They could likely get away with charging a few more thousand per vehicle and forbid dealers from adding ADM.
