I think someone said it earlier, but the Challenger definitely fills a niche the mustang and camaro don't. And while they are on an older platform, the ride is exceptionally smooth. I also think the bigger size appeals to those who want a two door but still a good amount of space. The Mustang...
I have an Anarchy Motive weighted shift knob for sale. Its a translucent type red with the 6 speed pattern on top in black, and the howler coyote on each side. I placed this order back in November but have sold my car since placing it. I am asking 100 shipped, it took me about 3 months from time...
I always go 6-5 or 6-4. Defintely bad for ecoboost owners but also for GT owners. The Coyote is not exactly a torque monster so you will definitely be putting alot of load on it, esp with the 3.31s
I just went from a 16 GT PP to a 16 Scat Pack a few weeks ago, was lucky to find a left over on a dealer lot and got it for ~8k below MSRP.
The Mustang was a nice car, I liked it alot, but it didnt have the "specialness" of the Challenger (more specifically the 392) to me. The Mustang was so...
Remember though, all of these costs are shared with the F-150 when it comes to the Coyote, it is not a mustang only engine. When looking at Ford's business plan, the new DI is as much about fuel efficiency standards as it is power. A less aggressively tuned engine will use less gas, that matters...
As I've seen smartly stated a few times in this forum, they are not going to give you the max potential of these upgrades at first, as if the Coyote carries over to the S650 they will have to bump it again (consider the 2011 Coyote power to where we are today, Ford could have given us the S550...
Recently traded in my 16 GT for a 16 Scat Pack and it was one of the best decisions Ive made.
The Mustang was a decent car, but I find the challenger to have a more comfortable ride and seats as well (and cooled seats that actually WORK!). Also, the 392/TR6060 combo is so much more fun in a...
The amount of "retrofitting" talk in this thread is outrageous. How many people retrofitted their early SN95 with New edge parts? or an 05-09 S197 with 10-14 parts? If you really want one of the big mechanical/electrical components on the 18 S550, you should buy a 2018. Pretty simple.
The nicest part of the 15-17 was the clean sleek design, that front end looks like a frankenstein creation of a fusion, camaro, and prius all in one :barf:
The amount of salt in this thread is already off the charts. It comes off as sour grapes of your bringing up an issue with diesels at FCA or "ohhhh its going to weigh xxxx so it sucks".
We can all sit here and talk about how "great" the upcoming GT500 will be... but all I have heard from Ford...
For all my co-millenials out in this forum mocking the older people should remember... If it wasn't for them the Mustang could have very well been been turned into the Ford Probe and we most likely would not have the car we are lucky enough to drive today.
And this idea that Mustangs are all...
Thanks! I'm planning Exhaust/Springs and some IRS stuff in the near future in addition to some other various interior and exterior mods.
Wheels/Tune to come later this year.
I've had my car since 10/30/16, but figured in the New Year its about time to start an official build thread. My car is a 2017 Shadow Black GT Performance Package with 401A, Navigation, and Redline Leather Interior. I was lucky enough to find almost the exact car I would have ordered on the lot...
