Well yeah, because more power and less dependency on foreign oil are not something you would ever want.
I see what you did there.

How about, less mileage, more $ per gallon, cost in tune, PIA trying to locate fuel stations...

Sure, it doesn't make sense for everyone. E85 is everywhere here, costs 30% less than regular unleaded and sometimes as much as 50% less than premium, and for forced induction users, should be mandatory in my opinion. The benefits far outweigh the disadvantages.

If I go with a whipple 3.0L, then I'll do it. But I'm doubting I do with this car. Probably the next

Definitely depends on driving habits. With my wife in the car I get 30 or close to it, by myself 19-22. But reading this thread did bring a good question. Why would you put E85 and baby it for fuel milage? I'm going to murder this thing when I get tuned and E85 LOL.

But prior to doing it I have often thought of the OP question.

160ish. I fill up at least once per week. Probably getting around 120 miles per tank on pure E85 actually.

E85 is about 20 cents cheaper per gallons for me than using 93 even when accounting for the difference in gas mileage

No issue finding fuel since I have canbus flex, and $700 for a tune on a $40k car is irrelevant to me
