What exhaust are you running?Today I spent a lot of time in Forscan. I can confirm that my vehicle with active exhaust from the factory , actuators zipped tied up, no longer throws codes after I disabled the active exhaust option in forscan IPC module. So now I don't have to goto settings and turn the active exhaust to normal. It just completely removes the exhaust feature from the menu also.
So in the next weekend or two when I finish installing the new toe links and knuckle bearings (depending on my torn labrum) , i plan to disconnect and remove the actuators for the exhaust.
Running the borla s type catback. What exhaust are you running?
Not sure if it’s worth it to you, but there is a more permanent mounting solution available for the actuators. The price seems a bit higher now than when I bought mile a few years ago.Mustang I bought had muffler deletes. The valve actuators were zipped tied up out of the way. I replaced the exhaust with a borla s type non active. I couldnt see spending that extra money for the valved exhaust. I also purchased an obd mx+ , so I will be disabling the active bit once I get time. It gets really annoying going to settings and setting the exhaust to normal everytime I want to drive in a different mode. Plus the CEL they put out are annoying and take around 2 or 3 starts to go away.
