I had trouble the first week of owning my 5th gen. After that visibility was a non-issue. I have no trouble at all. Of course I am 5'10" so that could be part of it.Good Lord! How can a person see out of that Camaro?
It needs the hood and fender lines of the GT350. More aggressive/wider tail lights. Slightly taller rear deck. Ditch the euro exhaust and add a 5.2 L V-8.I'm still having a hard time liking the front of the new stang. I love it from the windshield back even the the roof reminds me of a 350/370z. However once lowered with a set of wheels and a nice exhaust I tend to overlook the front.
It's not opinion...I mean this is one opinion.
There is no optimal ratio. There's much more to a WB to track ratio to consider. You have center of gravity, weight balance, total weight and weight transfer. All these are a huge part in how a car handles more then just WB and track ratio. You will find out in about two weeks on how your bad ratio car does.:cheers:It's not opinion...
The Mustang and Corvette were designed for an optimal footprint based on the 107.1 and 106.7 inch wheelbases. Both the Mustang and Corvette were engineered with a near optimal track and wheelbase:track ratio.
The Camaro simply strived for the best case scenario. With a 109.3 inch ATS wheelbase, a 63.1 would still be sub-optimal... the 110.7 is just far too big. Many consider 110 inches to be a small Full size platform.
Are you hinting that the Z28 beat the GT350/GT350R?There is no optimal ratio. There's much more to a WB to track ratio to consider. Oh, there is certainly an optimal ratio for a front engine, rear drive vehicle. There is even a mathematical equation and there is an actual number. There is no optimal ratio. I bet he was referring to the 6th gen Gt vs 6th gen SS. The media embargo lifts in 2 weeks. Are you hinting that the Z28 beat the GT350/GT350R?
The stock 6G SS with the 245 run flats beats the GT350RAre you hinting that the Z28 beat the GT350/GT350R?
No, the GT350 and Z06 are both close to being optimal. The Mustang GT actually has a better wheelbase:track ratio than the C7 BUT, as he says, variables will deduct performance from your geometrically optimal platform. Are you hinting that the Z28 beat the GT350/GT350R?
