I have every intention of going to the service side of the dealership within a week of taking delivery and talking to my parts guy.

"I want the 50th LE grille on my GT. Make it happen."

That corralled pony grille is hot!!

I personally like the Matching Upper and Lower Grills whether it's a Eco-Boost or GT. I Want the Wavy Upper and Lower Grills so I guess that rules out the Adaptive Cruise Control for Me.
I thought the LE did not get adaptive Cruise but it does have BLISS. The top pic is the LE correct?

Yes, the Top Picture is of the Wimbledon White Limited Edition, and MustangChief where do you get that the Limited Edition doesn't get Adaptive Cruise Control? Every Source from Bill Ford all the way down have said that the Limited Edition will have Every Option avaliable, as Standard. The Only Options being Automatic or Stick, and Wimbledon White or Kona Blue.

Blame that on trustworthy order guide. Order guide does not list ACC as feature on LE.

*EDIT* OK so I lied... I actually do agree with those above who stated the fanged lower grill looks better than the ACC one... and yes, I did call and make the change on my order about 10 minutes ago lol.

I like the fanged looking going all the way down the front instead of just stopping on the upper grill.

Someone already showed a LE DORA and it stated no adaptive cruise. Also, the order guide says the LE comes with the 401A and then list the LE package underneath. It does not state that it comes with the 401A package plus all other options included.

Gonna stay out of this one lol. Somebody at Ford MUST be reading all of the banter (and some arguing) about this "standard/not standard" stuff, hope they'll put it to rest soon.

On a happy note...love the GT grills the best, thanks for the pics and explanation Tampabear! Might just switch out the LE's for those.....if I can.

I just think at this time there are too many unknowns and Ford gas not stepped up and given any REAL specifics.

Obviously everyone has their own priorities, but I personally would not ditch a potentially valuable safety feature (collision mitigation) just for the sake of an (arguably) minor improvement in the looks of a part of the car that is not even going to be noticeable most of the time.

People should keep in mind that most of the photos used in this thread were pretty much taken at bumper level. That is great for illustrating different visual aspects of the car for marketing, but not a normal perspective from which to view the car under most circumstances. The car is almost always going to be viewed from a higher perspective, and IMO the differences in that area of the bumper are simply not going to be that noticeable, especially considering it's all just dark/black detailing anyway.

Anyway, I get that in the absence of information and access to the cars themselves, we're all doomed to sit here and over-analyze every tiny detail of every photo (I know I've done my share). I just think people need to be sure to keep some of these little details in perspective. It's interesting forum material to highlight some of these differences, but some of the stuff that's being nit picked and obsessed over really is not going to matter much in the scheme of things later on once the car is in our driveways and we're done going over every aspect of its features with a fine toothed comb. :)

The ACC is shown as not available on my DORA, and I was at the unveiling and Both Bill Ford and Dave Pericak said ALMOST every available option. They never said every. There is a video of Dave talking about it on you tube. I also have video I took of Bill Ford introducing it. I check it and if he says every, I'll post it.

Any chance to get the honeycomb with "Fangs" (GT Version) from factory delivery on an EB instead of the regular EB "wavy" honeycomb ?

Don't see it on the option list...

^^^ if anything I would wait until aftermarket ones come out to make the decision and if you still like it you will find a bunch on line for sale.

I just realized that when the Build and Price was working - the V6 model had the same lower grill as the ones we think have ACC. Which wouldn't make sense as the V6 can't be ordered with ACC.

Granted it doesn't mean much since none of this stuff was final. Whatever though. I'm going to call my dealer and just tell him to drop ACC on my order. It would be a nice feature to have but it's nothing that I absolutely need or plan on using a lot anyways. I also imagine I wouldn't be able to use the system to it's full advantage as I ordered the manual transmission.

I hate to keep harping on this, but those of you dropping this feature because you don't think you'll use the 'cruise control' aspect of it much need to remember that is only one part of the package. The Collision Mitigation system that also comes with the package is a potentially valuable safety feature that could easily reduce the severity of a collision or avoid one altogether due to the reduced braking distances it can result in. I did some calculations to illustrate the potential effects here and here.

It's food for thought. Personally, I'll deal with a different lower grill which will probably not be noticeable most of the time anyway for the added safety benefits of this feature.

I get your point but if I've been driving this long w/out it I'd rather have Recaro's or something else... Just my opinion and I'm sure we'll see a story or two about it saving someone's car before EOY...
