Quick background of my car, it is a 2018 Mustang with a On3 Twin Turbo kit. After a blowing my motor I got a sleeved forged pistons and rods 5.2 built short block with pac springs and Stage 2 locked out Comp cams deleted vct etc, built and put it in my car. After getting it all put together the idle was ruff and struggled to stay on, on its own. Sent the tuner a data log and he advised me that the passenger side DI injectors were not functioning. Got a working and running set from another car and swapped them out and nothing. Then swapped the DI injector harness and still nothing. Then swapped out the entire engine harness and still no success. Even went the extra mile and swapped out the PCM thinking maybe it went bad and to no success. Im honestly at a giving up stage where Im not sure what to do anymore. Anyone run into anything similar??

Does the car have any current fault codes showing after all the swapping of parts?

Since the vehicle did have a major engine repair have you checked or performed:

1) That all grounds are connected and none were missed

2) Crank relearn procedure (this has to be done anytime the engine or trans has had a major repair or was replaced.

Since the engine was out - I would definitely go over all of your steps and check every other harnesses going into/out of the engine bay and make sure not only are grounds connected, but that the actual wires in the looms (inside the conduit) were not damaged. Also check all of your connectors and make sure every one is totally secured/pushed on all the way.

It sounds to me like there may be either a ground issue or there's a wire somewhere that has been damaged.

I'm also going to throw in this tech thread, not sure if it will help but maybe check this area too since you had the engine bay items all apart:

My first start up after my clutch install had very poor idle and the car wanted to die. It straightened out a bit, but then started misfiring on cylinders 3, 4 and 7 during the test drive. A crank relearn fixed it and all has been smooth ever since.

Are you sure the injectors are not working?

Locked out cams will not idle very well. I do believe Comp stage 2 cams do not need to be locked out.

Yup was checking via MPVI also tuner confirmed they are not on. For my set up and goals for my car we opted to lock the cams out and delete the VCT.
