I love my GT350 but it is quirky AF between the random noises it makes, messages I get on the FP app, etc. The latest is that I keep getting messages that the car is in Deep Sleep mode and that I need to manually turn on the car to deactivate this mode. Per the FP app, Deep Sleep mode is designed to conserve battery power and is activated when your vehicle falls under the following conditions:
• Vehicle inactivity for 14 consecutive days
• The battery voltage drops below 9.5 volts
• Extremely cold/hot weather conditions
The issue is that none of these conditions are met (battery voltage is 11.7 and I ran, I drove the car 3 days ago and temps have been in the 70s here in central TX) when it does this. I found another post on the internet saying that some 2020 models will also set a warning if the telematic control unit (TCU) has received an automatic over the air update.
This is more of an annoyance than anything else but is anybody else seeing this and can anyone shed some light on why this is happening?
