Order date 12/18 and just saw on COTUS EDD of 3/1!

Lhousephoto, from what I understand, priority 10 is actually a good thing. under 10 is for special orders according to the info I get here> I am priority 10 also.

Vin: early Jan.
Build week: 2/2/15
EDD: 2/22/15

I ordered mine 1/5, VIN on COTUS 1/16....however I see on the paperwork I received from the dealership the day I ordered it that my car is ordered as 'stock', with a priority code 80.
Does this mean I won't see my car until the next millennium???

I know, I'm not complaining about the priority 10, I'm just griping because I test drove a GT PP the other day, and it's making me want my car even more. I wasn't crazy about the hood when I test drove an Ecoboost after ordering my GT, but the GT has the heat extractors which fixes that problem. The GT PP I drove had Recaros that don't fit me quite right, and I didn't order them, I know my car is perfect (for me) and I know I also have to wait 30 days!

No. Once you have a VIN, the priority code doesn't mean anything. Based on when your VIN was assigned, your car will most likely be built during the week of 2/2/15.

Thanks for the info, Stang Nut....I'm new at all of this so wasn't sure what '80' meant. I'm in Minnesota, so I'm not getting impatient yet - but I just didn't want to wait until a summer delivery to get this car I've wanted for the last 30 years.

Here is how Ford Service explained the process,

"orders are scheduled based on the following criteria:

-the priority code rating
-the dealer's allocation for each production week
-the ordered option content (assembly plant discretion)
-the receipt date"

Not sure if this is helpful to anyone or not.

I just looked up COTUS and it now says est delivery date is 2/26 but it's still says order processing and the order went in on 1/10. Nothing about a build date or shipping or anything. Is this correct? I've seen people on here with est delivery dates and they didn't happen so that's why I'm asking. I had told my dealer I can't pick it up until the end of March at the earliest. So if it does get to the dealership they will have to wait.

What was your priority code? Ordered on 1/10 (VIN most likely assigned on 1/15) and delivery estimate of 2/26? That is a FAST turn around compared to others...I got a VIN on 1/15 (ordered on 12/17) and my EDD is 3/2. Regardless, an end of March delivery isn't looking promising for you as your car will most likely get there before that.

Well got a PM from FordService today, and my build week is 2/16!!! That means I should be looking at a March delivery!!!

Dealer just emailed me with a different ETA than COTUS

Order: 1/2
COTUS EDD: 2/23
Dealer EDD: week of 2/9

Do you know when your order was pulled? (it gets pulled at the same time your VIN gets assigned)
If I had to to guess, I'd say that ETA from the dealer is the build week.

EDD: 03/05/15

I just got the EDD today. This seems like an extraordinary amount of time to get a delivery date. I had priority 19 when ordered. How long does it usually take to get a production date? How can they provide an estimated delivery date before they know a production date?

Got my Estimated Delivery today as well! 03/02/15 :clap2:. Ordered 01/08/15 so I feel like that is right in line with what the dealer was telling me. Going to be the longest 33 days of my life. Hopefully it gets pushed up a few days.
