Wow glad I found this thread. Exact same thing happened to me on the driver's side one. My tips are definitely too far in so I'll bring those out to help with it. You would think a piece of plastic near the exhaust exit would have a high temperature rating... :shrug:

Well thought I'd never make it into this thread but today was the day. A girl made a left turn in front of me from opposite direction and I basically T boned her with the front right corner as she never looked. She got a ticket, I got the fucked up car. Will be handling insurance tomorrow...

I installed mine over the weekend and screwed up both sides, but barely. I'm the only one that can see the tiny imperfections. This was due to me pulling them up and reapplying after I had gotten all the air/water out. But, you can't see the issues unless your 1 foot away. Overall I think...

Well got it put on yesterday. I was actually able to get it on without removing the hood latch and without losing a single nut. I'm a skinny dude so that definitely helped. I was torn on the black look or color matched. Decided to go with the color matched DIB one and I really like it...

So my car does this rev hang but only when I'm pulling the car up to high revs like on ramps to the highway. I bring 3rd up to around 6K and I shift to neutral and the revs sit at ~4K for 2 seconds I'd say. Definitely strange to me as I've never had this feature in a manual car. So is the...
